Special Containment Procedures: SCP-006-KO is to be contained in a 3.5m x 3.5m sized containment chamber. Experiments must not be conducted without the permission of the person in charge. No extra surveillance is required as the object does not inflict harm if nobody lies on it. SCP-006-KO is to be contained in a 15m x 15m sized containment chamber. Experiments using SCP-006-KO are not permitted. As seen from the case of Dr. M███████(refer to Incident log 006-KO-B), it has been found that the bed used by the person that was in a radius of 10 metres from 006-KO turns into SCP-006-KO-X. 006-KO-X retains the infectious nature of SCP-006-KO; however, it is not indestructible. Therefore, 006-KO-X must be destroyed as soon as possible.
Description: SCP-006-KO was discovered in F███ █████ Hotel located in Philadelphia, U.S. Media coverage of mass suffocation case of several hundred people was being planned, but was obstructed by Agent K███████. All but one instance was destroyed during transportation.
006-KO consists of three parts. 006-KO-1 is a regular bed for two; -2 is a thick blanket; 006-3 is a cushion slightly bigger than a human head.
When a person enters a 3-metre radius from 006-KO-1, they lie on it, regardless of their will. This action can be obstructed by another person.
When a person lies on 006-KO-1, 006-KO-2 climbs over it, squeezing tight on the victim's body. The pressure may result in several fractures of the ribcage.
When 006-KO-2 covers the victim to the neck, 006-KO-3 starts moving at a speed of 3cm/s. -3 approaches the victim's head, blocks the victim's mouth and nose, and slowly starts pressing on the orifices. It continues pressing until three hours after the victim's death, returning to its original position.
006-KO has been proven to not affect inanimate objects or living beings other than humans.
