Overlapped Hometown
Series overview
"Overlapped Hometown" is a series describing a world in which over half of the land sunk into the ocean on May 19, 2020. Due to a sea level rise of about 3,000 meters, almost nothing is left. More than nine tenths of Foundation personnel and civilians have died. The main settings are submarine sites of the Foundation, civilian and GoI ships and what little land remains.
Nobody was able to predict the sea level rise. However, the Foundation continues to research its cause and contain the objects it finds, as it always does. GoIs continue to pursue their goals — but before that, they help the civilian population in their own way. In such a world, everyone has to survive, hand in hand. The O5s also made such a decision.

Main Facilities and GoIs
Site-81HT
Submarine site, originally made to contain and research marine objects. There is an elevator leading to ground level, but it can't be used because the former aboveground site is now underwater. Its personnel can go to the sea surface using research submarines. There also exist other submarine sites and access paths to them.
SCPS
As long as there is the sea, ships will continue to exist. In the middle of a mission, they got left behind. Some ships will continue to contain objects, while others will go on to rescue civilians.
JOICL & Tou-Hei
Now, their members remain on Umi-no-tori-maru, a ship thought to be the product of the Sho-Hei Project. They seem to have no trouble with medical care, food, or fuel due to the technology of both sides. Now, they take in civilians from their small boats and protect them.

For Authors
In this series, there's not much that you need to pay attention to other than the setting of "The world is under the sea" and tagging your work with "overlapped_hometown". You can describe activities of GoIs, objects causing containment breaches in sunken sites, or write about the cause of the sea level rise. Since this is a maritime-focused story, it goes without saying that ships will play an active role.
If you're having thoughts like "I have a question about this series" or "I want to add so-and-so to the setting", contact
AMADAI through the discussion on this page, Wikidot PM, Discord, etc. I will respond as soon as possible.
Finally, I would like to thank the writers of series hub, which I referred to when I made this hub page, the contributors to the SCP style resource whose code I used, the writers of Overlapped Hometown and those who always look forward to my new works. Thank you very much.
