It's white and empty.

A space befitting of such a description.

Even in this endless white, any voice will bounce off somewhere and echo in the whole place.

And so, someone speaks.

It's a young lady, with long, uncombed messy brown hair and pale green eyes.

"…Farooque?"

It echos. And nobody answers.

"…Alex?"

It echos. And nobody answers.

"…Yonshi?"

It echos. And nobody answers.

As the echo of her last voice fades away, she opens her mouth yet again.

"I'm calling you by all the names you've given to yourself. I know you're listening. Don't play possum on me."

Then a man appears in this space. A man in a suit and fedora.

Now, only the two of them stand in this white, blank void.

"Sigurrós." He speaks as if he's tired of her.

"Do you have anything to say?"

"Wake me up, and free me from here. I know you can do that."

"I won't, neither do I want to."

He mutters as if he wants to speak no more.

"I'm trapped here, IV in my arm and forever asleep. I'll probably never wake up."

He stands still, speechless.

"Ever since I was very young, whenever I couldn't fall asleep from anxiety, you'd always show up in my dreams and comfort me with warm, kind words. Every time you did that, I could finally sleep tight."

He looks uncomfortable.

"I… I'm stuck here for too long. I don't want to do this anymore." Her voice shakes.

"Pull me out of here. You can do it, can't you? Haven't you always kept me from having nightmares?" Her voice shakes more and grows anxious as she speaks.

"Sigurrós." He opens his mouth.

"You were dangerous. You had the power to control and turn the world upside down thousands of times." He said, in a bleak, empty voice.

"I had a duty to stop danger. You were the danger. Those words were merely part of what I had to do."

He said, staring dead into her eyes.

"You're not dangerous anymore. They contained you.

…You're none of my business anymore."

As the echo of his last lines faded, he opens his mouth again.

"…You can't summon me anymore. This is our end."

He was gone, in a flash.

She watched where he was in despair, her pale green eyes shaking in angst.

"…Richard?"

"…Steve?"

"Neil? Ove? Dave? Tony? Morpheus? Oneiros?"

"…Darling?"

"…."

"I'm calling you by all the names you've given to yourself. I know you're listening. "

"…Honey?"

"..Are you still there?"

"Don't leave me. Don't abandon me in this dream."

"Please…"
