Wow! I have to say — when it comes to Serpent's Hand formats, this is among the best of the best that I've read (and I've read most all the ones that exist in English). The way the Abyss is described carefully walks the line between a mystery revealing too much and nothing at all. The weaving in of a real-world mythology seems to have been done respectfully, and it uplifts an article that I already thought was quite good. Based on what I've read, I'm definitely interested in whatever else exists that expands on the background lore depicted here.

This was a joy to read. Very evocative, beautiful style of prose, and unsettling implications. Thank you for writing and translating this!
