Regarding the use of the name "National Taiwan Normal University", I did some research and the university was known as "Taiwan Provincial Normal College" (臺灣省立師範學院) between 1946 and 1955, "Taiwan Provincial Normal University" (臺灣省立師範大學) between 1955 and 1967, and "National Taiwan Normal University" (國立臺灣師範大學) in the Taiwan Area and "Taiwan Normal University" (台湾师范大学) in the mainland after 1967. However, even the Baidu page on the university records the English name "National Taiwan Normal University", despite using the One-China-compliant Chinese name "Taiwan Normal University" (台湾师范大学).
