Groups of Interest of the Chinese Branch

Overview

The Chinese GoI are often build on some sort of believe and incorporate concepts of the Chinese culture and history. Most of them know how to handle the anomalous and use it to their advantage. At the moment, there are fourteen Groups of Interest listed in the Chinese Branch.

"05 Council"

"05 Council"
Origin: Active in: Creator:	Unknown The entire world ashausesall
- Little is known about this organization - Creates large scale events targeting the Foundation. - Capable of accessing and altering the Foundation database. - Leaves messages in SCP articles, signed by 05(insert latin script letter here). - Hostile towards the Foundation. - Uncaring towards the wellbeing of others.

The 05 Council towards other GoI

Division XXV
The 05 Council had no knowledge about Division XXV while it existed. After its dissolution, it used some of its remaining artifacts it managed to find.
The Hive
The Hive has an alliance with the 05 Council, and they exchange data regularly.

Abnormality Institute

Abnormality Institute
Origin: Active in: Creator:	China China Darkequation, Archibald1
- Organization founded between the Jin and Tang dynasties by elite scholars under the command of the current rulers. - Maintained a detailed catalogue of all anomalous objects in China on bamboo scrolls. - Scholars followed written procedures to contain the described anomalies. - Also tried to research them. - Went into decline due to condemnation by the Manchu rulers of the Qing dynasty, after which the quality of records decreased. - Remaining records, literature and members were taken in by the Foundation. - Tried to keep the populace safe.

The Abnormality Institute had already vanished when the Hive appeared and therefore had no direct influence upon it.

The Doctor

The Doctor

- Organization dealing in anomalous medicine. - Produces anomalous advertisements, but no anomalous items themselves. - Follows a creed that demands complete devotion from doctors towards their jobs. - Develops medicines and medical appliances using advanced technology. - Members support each other in their research. - Annoyed by medical research not up to their standards, and tries to rectify these inferior works. - Research is never published, but The Doctor provides its services to those interested in them. - Hostile towards the Foundation, trades them anomalous products in order to destroy it. - Tries to preserve human life.

The Doctor is not aware of Division XXV, but sometimes studies its remains.
The Hive
The Hive is a benefactor of the Doctor, causing mixed feelings in parts of the Doctor because the Hive is apparently skilled in headhunting its members.

ECO Press

ECO Press

- Anomalous News Publisher and business trust from a parallel universe. - Produces anomalies using information technology, which most of the time do not affect the physical bodies of those exposed to them. - Creates anomalous items with the appearance of normal information carriers (paper, disks, etc.). - Products are often dangerous, because the human capabilities required for using them are either overestimated or misjudged. - Structure, leaders and details of the world ECO Press is located in are unknown, although the history of both universes seems mostly the same. - Exists in a dystopia world where the ECO Press has taken over all the governments. - ECO Press has only a limited ability to view our universe. - Fluent in Chinese, but some members also know English. - Amicable towards the Foundation, since they only want to explore our universe. - Does not actively try to harm people.

Fixed Flowers

Fixed Flowers
Origin: Active in: Creator:	Unknown Asia Notexam Houses
- Organization wishing to reform human society using anomalous means, focusing on freedom of opinion, confidentially of personal information, environmental protection and deindustrialization. - Founded during the First Industrial Revolution in Great Britain to fight the increasing mechanization, previously known as Flower Art Committee. - Usually employs plant-based anomalies with memetic and cognitohazardous effects, distributed in random cities with a greeting card. - Complex organizational structure, secrecy on par with that of the Foundation. - Members mostly have anomalous abilities and are divided in the ranks of Guards, Fixers and Florists, the later of which are the leaders. - Divided in two fractions, the Gardeners, who try to change society instantly through sacrifice and the Planters, who take a more subtle approach with satire and memes. - Fractions are not hostile towards each other and even work together on occasion. - Hostile towards the Foundation because of its means of acquiring information. - Tries not to harm people.

Fixed Flowers is not aware of Division XXV.
The Hive
The Hive is a benefactor of Fixed Flowers. It has for the most part a good reputation among the Fixed Flower members but some of the higher-ups raise eyebrows over the number of people that leave Fixed Flowers to join the Hive.
Global Occult Coalition
Fixed Flowers is hostile towards the Global Occult Coalition, thanks to them interfering with numerous operations of the movement.

"The Galactic Federation"

"The Galactic Federation"

- Organization that combines characteristics of both religion and science fiction. - Has its own website (www.████████████.███). - Cult-like reputation. - Members of the Federation can link together through a form of hive-mind technology. - Creates deceptive memetic objects. - Unable to use their anomalous abilities effectively, failures tend to happen and cause damage. - Defenseless against the actions of the Foundation (or the local government). - Philosophy is a forced mixture of Buddhism and Space-Age Science Fiction, through which they try to prevent harm to others.

The Galactic Federation sometimes stumbles upon remains of Division XXV.
The Hive
The Hive is a feared opponent because it does not simply imprison or kill its victims but converts them to his own cause. Those at least are the stories told inside the Federation, causing an automatic retreat when Hive Members approach.

"GpExpress"

"GpExpress"
Origin: Active in: Creator:	Unknown The entire world Tnsbilws
- Organization specialized on anomalous logistics and transport of anomalies - Full name is GpExpress Logistics Ltd. - Formerly the logistics department of Marshall, Carter and Dark Ltd. but started operating independently in 2014. - The headquarters is in Portland, Oregon, but they operate worldwide. - Hires and collects anomalies to aide in transport of goods and people, can use containment procedures on par with those of the Foundation. - Security personnel protects the cargo with its live, often occupying hostile forces long enough to bring it to safety. - Successfully defends themselves against all attempted interceptions by the Foundation, but makes no effort to prevent tracking. - GpExpress only cares about delivering its cargo intact, and doesn’t pay much attention to obstacles it has to remove to fulfil its deliveries.

Division XXV
Although they know almost nothing about it, GpExpress sometimes gets an order involving the transport of one or several of its remains. Unbeknownst to them, they even use some Division XXV artifacts in their line of work.
The Factory
GpExpress transported factory goods on several occasions.
St. Christina College
GpExpress has recruited students from St. Christina College as interns.
Global Occult Coalition
GpExpress does not accept orders by the Global Occult Coalition and will engage them at full force when intercepted during transport.
The Hive
The Hive is a well-liked patron, and provides some staff to GpExpress.
Marshall, Carter, and Dark Ltd.
GpExpress was once the logistics department of Marshall, Carter and Dark Ltd. until it became independent in 2014. Since then, they executed countless transportation orders from the company.

Kuiyang Sect

Kuiyang Sect
Origin: Active in: Creator:	China China Areyoucrazytom
- Small organization well versed in the field of the anomalous. - Display complex understanding of Chinese Fengshui Geomancy and Alchemy, ancient Chinese culture and ceremonial tea, despite appearing as Taoists. - Anomalous objects of the Sect are usually anomalous areas, buildings/structures, literature and tools pertaining to Chinese alchemy. - Members are skilled at escaping, messages left behind by them are often written in lyrical form and require a lot of interpretation. - Tries to evade the Foundation. - Not above causing causalities.

The Kuiyang Sect had no knowledge of Division XXV.
The Hive
The Sect and the Hive work together on certain projects, both profiting from the expertise of the other. Many Sect members don’t get along well with Hive members, because other potential Kuiyang Sect members decided to go to the Hive instead.

LETTERS Entertainment

- Producer of video games for all platforms imaginable. - Normally products doesn’t have side effects, but their unique idea of game production leads to problems then and when. - The Foundation considers buying products for different uses, be it recreation or training. - LETTERS Entertainment has many different game developers, resulting in many different games, but they all influence reality in some way. - Some game developer seem to strife for being better than others. - Tries to evade the Foundation. - Takes the health of its customers into account.

LETTERS Entertainment has no knowledge of Division XXV and shows no interest in its remains.
ECO Press
Some studios of the Letters Entertainment had a history of cooperation with the ECO Press.
The Hive
LETTERS Entertainment’s staff is in some parts rather pro-Hive, much to the confusion of the higher-ups.

OB Media

OB Media

- Organization dealing with anomalous advertisements for anomalous products and their delivery. - Produces anomalous advertisements, but has no anomalous items themselves. - Products are often dangerous, because the human capabilities for using them are either overestimated or misjudged. - The Foundation is confronted with multiple version of the same group, originating from different universes, as indicated by distinct differences between the versions as, for example, a different name. - Known to the Foundation by multiple names due to its multiversal nature, such as OB Media, Observe Media, Ooooo Bright! Media and others. - Leaders originate from different universes and are anomalous. - Advertisements tend to be intended for entertainment, and contain a certain amount of sarcasm. - Its advertisements can be harmful, but it is unknown if this is intended.

There was a history of cooperation between OB Media and some studios of LETTERS Entertainment.

Sleeves Rolled Up Club

- Organization that cracks down illegal and criminal acts using anomalous means in an extreme or even cruel way. - Disguised as a loose group of commonwealth organization or criminal tool provider. - Hostile towards criminal actions. - Usually provides crime-related anomalies with hazardous effects on their users, distributed through trading. - Has deliberate behaviors to mislead how other GoI view them - Has two kinds of rumor about them: (1) SRUC regard themselves as a private club and their actions of violence recreational activities; (2) SRUC is an alternative commonwealth group composed of teenagers from anomalous communities.

Sleeves Rolled Up Club is not aware of Division XXV but sometimes uses some of its reamains for crime fighting.

The Hive
The Hive with its worldwide manipulation is a target of investigation. Weirdly enough, many people assigned to the case do a really bad job.

Friendly as some of the SRUC members come from this school.

Schistosoma Protection Institute

Schistosoma Protection Institute (SPI)

- Organization of eco-terrorists with the goal to be ignored and to protect rare animals. - Claims that anomalous organisms are part of the ecosystem, just like non-anomalous animals. - Amalgamation of several different organizations, of which RICPI is the most active, though there is a viewpoint suggesting that they are actually different departments of the same organization. - The constituent organizations are: RICPI (Rare Ignore Creature Protect Institute), Rick P. Breeding Research Base, Sacred Bloodstone Garden, SPI and Tan-Lu University. - Members' corpses are hosts to a variety of rare parasites, some known, some unknown to the Foundation. - Unknown organizational structure or leaders to the Foundation, due to RICPI's strong information control and misleading ability. - Infiltrated the Foundation, but will work with it on occasion to fight common threats. - Seems to put the well-being of its subjects above human life, but draws the line at a certain threshold.

SPI towards other GoI

Division XXV
The SPI was not aware of Division XXV, even when facing it on GDR territory, and nowadays mostly ignores its remains.
The Hive
While the SPI is grateful for the Hive's engagement, it views it opinion about certain parasites with disdain. SPI members leaving the group to join the Hive are therefore branded as traitors.

St. Christina College

St. Christina College
Origin: Active in: Creator:	Kowloon Walled City, Hong Kong, China China MScarlet
- Secondary school that possesses many anomalous objects, founded in 1952. - The campus was never located by the Foundation. - Aims to cultivate the most outstanding students through the application of anomalies. - Also teaches its students how to create anomalies. - Lead by an individual named "The Principal", adored by staff and students alike. - A lot of students later join anomalous organizations, the Foundation included. - Doesn't care about the Foundation. - Tries to keep its students and personnel from harm.

The St. Christina College towards other GoI

Division XXV
The College never found out about the Division. The college uses some acquired objects of Division XXV for educational purposes, despite knowing nothing about its creators.
The Hive
The Hive is a benefactor of the College, but the director distrusts them because of its continuous applications for the position of teacher. Until now he rejected all of them.

TING Forum

TING Forum
Origin: Active in: Creator:	Guangzhou Guangdong China China Tnsbilws
- A forum to discuss illegal street racing, Operated by the TING team from Guangzhou and managed by the Maskman team and the FIREHIT team - There are illegal sales in the forum, and members from other organizations sell illegal vehicle and vehicle parts in the forum. - Forum members are highly mobile, and it is very difficult to track members of these organizations. - The TING team is good at collecting intelligence, the Maskman team is good at making unusual items, and the FIRHEIT team is extremely vulnerable to abnormalities. - The date of the forum's founding is unknown, but unreliable information indicates that the TING team itself has existed for more than three years. - Most of the SCPs are related to the "track" set by the forum, the "vehicle" for buying and selling, and the "driver" who has registered for the forum. - Cooperate with the SCP Foundation, but steal some information about the Foundation from time to time.

The Hive and the TING Forum have a business relationship as the Hive has some sought after parts and vehicles in store. Their stock is so appealing, that some TING members already switched sides…

Manufactures unusual parts and sells them on the forum.
