Groups of Interest of the Traditional Chinese Branch

Overview

The Groups of Interest of the Traditional Chinese Branch mostly strive for coexistence and understanding of the anomalous. At the moment, there are nine Groups of Interest listed in the Traditional Chinese Branch.

- Former governmental organization destroyed during the Cold War by the GOC and the MI666 - Organization that has colonized locations in various parallel universes, highly militaristic. - Has only recently been discovered by the Foundation. - Also employs anomalous personnel in its ranks to heighten combat efficiency. - Tries to colonize our world also. - Hostile towards of the Foundation. - If provoked, will annihilate any adversaries with maximum firepower, if necessary.

Ambrose Restaurant
The Department is friendly towards the Restaurant chain, even allowing them to take up shop in their colonies and providing them with supplies in exchange for currency.
Division XXV
The Department has no knowledge about the Division but has encountered some of its creations during trades with other Groups of Interest.
Fan-guang Chemical
Both groups are business partners, with the department purchasing large amounts of raw materials to created weapons, tools and other necessities.
Global Occult Coalition
The Department will crush any GOC operatives on sight or after figuring out a viable plan of attack, given what happened during the Cold War.
The Hive
The collective intelligence of the Hive is viewed as a possible valuable asset by the Department, so they entered an alliance and helps out the collective in times of emergency.
IJAMEA
Although there are no records about encounters between the two during the war, both have engaged repeatedly in recent times.
Marshall, Carter, and Dark Ltd.
Both groups are rivals, competing with raids and counter-raids. There are, however, documented cases of both joining forces temporarily for the sake of profit.
Mu Yi Private Library and Museum
The relationship is strained, as Mu Yi is competing with the Department for the recovery of ancient books and artifacts. It is unknown why the Department fears Mu Yi.
Nobody
Nobody is employed as an informant by the Department and compensated accordingly. Exchanges are mostly conducted by Nobody answering three questions.
Tsar's Seers
The Tsar's Seers are a prime target for the Department for their anomalous abilities and knowhow and get apprehended on sight.
Wilson Wildlife Solutions
The company is viewed as bunch of lunatics by the department, circulating propaganda of them being "demonic animal protectionists". Have a surprisingly hard time cracking them down, though.

Bell Thrower

- Association of a homo sapiens species called the Xingren, working towards gaining human rights and living space for their species, as their own world is dying. - Multifaceted organization, of which the R&D department is the most capable. - Proficient in crafting biotechnological anomalies. - Conflict may result in an SK Class Dominance Shift. - Are allowed to only trade with the Foundation. - Peaceful unless provoked.

The Xingren are unaware of the Hive, but some of its members started acting strange recently.

Cobweb International

Cobweb International
Origin: Active in: Creator:	Macau The entire World Nihilmace
- Anomalous military service established in 1995. - Joint-Venture between former Serpent's Hand operative Li Siben and former GoC agent Valentina de Oliveira Martins. - Usually not directly involved in conflicts but provides security for war zones and convoys and military training. - Will employ all sorts of anomalies in their work without care for the veil. - Strained relationship with the Foundation. - Will eradicate threats and save people as contracted.

Cobweb International towards other GoI

Chaos Insurgency
Cobweb International considers the Chaos Insurgency as an deadly enemy, even joining forces with other groups to bring it down.
Church of the Broken God
As Cobweb International has no qualms about religion, both groups are in a commercial relationship, except with the Cogwork Orthodox.
Division XXV
Cobweb International has no knowledge of Division XXV but some of its remains were found in its possession.
Global Occult Coalition
Relations with the GOC are strained because of Cobwebs liberal use of anomalies without any care for secrecy.
The Hive
The Hive was a frequent customer until several employees started deviating to the collective, sometimes taking valuable anomalies with them. Since then, The Hive is blacklisted, but there are still people resigning to join the hive mind now and then.
Mana Charitable Foundation
The Mana Charitable Foundation is a frequent customer if it needs protection in dangerous areas.
Tsar's Seers
Cobweb International is neutral towards the Tsar's seers, accepting support requests and aiding in manhunts but also on occasion sabotaging the association on accident.

Fan-guang Chemical

Fan-guang Chemical
Origin: Active in: Creator:	Hong Kong Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macao, Singapore and Malaysia Unknown
- Company dealing in anomalous chemical products. - Known for their effectiveness and cheap production but also for the harm their products present to the users. - Only communicate in Traditional Chinese. - Use anomalies in their production processes. - Will cut communication after an order is finished, even memory whiping customers, contact has to be established again afterwards. - Indifferent towards the Foundation. - Doesn't care about any harm it causes.

Fan-guang Chemical is unaware of Division XXV. It is unknown if they have remains of the Division in their possession.
The Hive
The Hive is quite annoying for Fan-Guang Chemical, as mind-wipes don't work thanks to its back-up nature. Although a good customer, the company loses an employee to the collective from time to time.

The Laundry Department

- Anomalous laundry and clothing maintenance service, also known as Camellia Laundry, Phantasm Orchid. - Will try to clean anything a customer might honestly consider as clothing. - Uses anomalous means to get clothes spotless. - The Foundation is a regular. - Will try to prevent accidents during laundry.

The Hive
The Laundry Department views the Hive as a difficult costumer, as it only brings the clothes with the most resilient stains for cleaning. It got to the point that employees went over to the collective to see what the hell they are doing to manage creating such stains.

Mu Yi Private Library and Museum

Mu Yi Private Library and Museum
Origin: Active in: Creator:	Taiwan Taiwan, Hong kong minmasterqw
- Private Library and Museum for anomalous artifacts, found in 1978. - Established a a branch in Hong Kong under the protection of the Foundation, allowing it to gain intel on anomalies and anomalies themselves. - Allowed to contain Safe Class anomalies. - Cooperates with the Foundation. - Wishes no harm to anybody.

The relationship is strained, as Mu Yi is competing with the Department for the recovery of ancient books and artifacts. It is unknown why the Department fears Mu Yi.

Mu Yi knows of Division XXV thanks to the Foundation and helps tracing trafics of its remains.
The Hive
The Library is vary of the Hive thanks to information gathered from the Foundation and only makes contact with many precautions.
Tsar's Seers
Both groups have a mutual assistance agreement, with Mu Yi handing over anomalies originally belonging to Russia.

- Association of scholars of the anomalous, established in 1480 and officially disbanded in 1920. after the Revolution. - After disbandment some members lurked in other anomalous groups while the rest went into hiding. - Nowadays, about half of the have thaumaturgic capabilities. - Cooperates with the Foundation in exchange for protection. - Mostly harmless, even helping groups sheltering members.

The Seers infiltrated the department for sabotage. Orders are to remain hidden until the group as a whoe gets provoked.
Cobweb International
The Tsar's seers are neutral towards Cobweb International, relying on their services but sometimes they take a blow on accident.
Division XXV
Seers that fled into the GDR became subject to persecution by the Stasi for reasons that should reveal themselves to them only decades later.
Global Occult Coalition
Some Seers are employed by the GOC and ever so subtle try to throw a wedge in their plans.
GRU Division "P"
The Division is considered the greatest adversary to the Seers and its operatives get most often anihilated on sight.
The Hive
There are records on Seers joining the Hive and later returning to the group proper. Members get screened regularly to detect hive-mind contamination.
IJAMEA
The Seers are keeping an eye out for IJAMEA and any artifacts originally belonging to Russia. Operatives normally get either attacked or sabotaged.
Mu Yi Private Library and Museum
Both groups have a mutual assistance agreement, with Mu Yi handing over anomalies originally belonging to Russia.
Serpent's Hand
The relationship is complicated. Although they strife for mutual assistance, there are disputes about belongings and responsibilities regarding anomalous objects.
Shūshū-In
The Seers and Shūshū-In are in an alliance, stretching back to the Russian Civil War, during which it aided the Seers.

- Famous incorporation in normal Taiwan society. - Mainly devoted into medical services, R&D and education. - Viewing paranormal biological anomaly as new resources and applying them. - Barely aware of anomalous community under the Veil. - Majority of the activities and employees are still considered normal by Foundation.

YuanJhih Biomedicine Inc. towards other GoI

The Foundation
Barely realizing the nature of the Foundation, only aware of the organization due to some intelligence activities in their hospital, hence seeing the Foundation as unknown commercial competitors.
Sarkicism
Somehow has obtained the methods of inducing Sarkic anomaly from specific Adytite states. Not fully into the religion and philosophic system of Sarkicism but only utilizes the anomalous ability.

- Police Force for the anomalous, formerly known as Colonial Police Force, founded in 1934 by the MI666. - Reorganised into the Cha Ling Police Department by the People's Republic of China in 1997. - Responsible for handling anomalous situation in New Cha Ling, Hong Kong. - Allowed to use several sorts of anomalies to do its job. - Hostile towards other religious groups. - Cooperates with the Foundation. - As their job entails, the officers try to keep people safe.

Global Occult Coalition
The police force cooperates with the GOC when the need arises.
Division XXV
The Police force gets filled in on Division XXV on a need-to-know basis by the Foundation if there are cases where its remains where used to commit crimes.
The Hive
The Hive is a chronical headache for the police force, investigations mostly led nowhere.
