The answer that stopped humanity was a future encased in ice
I-say Age is a story focusing on an inevitable - or already-underway - extinction.
Following countless years of research, the Foundation discovered their future - a frozen world. No matter how much they struggle, the future is already set. No [deus ex machina] can save them, nor is there anything like an [electronic dog] to overturn the situation.
Discovering this, how did the Foundation and the anomalous world react?
How did those protected by the Veil feel about this stairway to extinction?
And what do the anomalies themselves - or at least, the sentient ones - think?
And after the world ends:
On a frozen earth, the most of the survivors escaped underground. With no end in sight, trapped in the depths of the cold, what awaits them in the end?
Even though they have been thrust into a frozen world, there must still be anomalies on the surface, continuing to act. In this icy world, what do they do?
Well, to everyone, have a nice apocalypse.
This series' setting doesn't have much in the way of particulars. Something happened in this world, and the earth was completely frozen over - that is all that is set in stone. That "something" could be SCP-2203-JP's large-scale occurrence, or it could also be something else. Humanity could have gone extinct from the cold, or there may be a few survivors. You can describe a world after humanity goes extinct, or a world where humans fight against extinction as the world slowly freezes. Or maybe it would be interesting to write about humanity despairing upon discovering the symptoms of the snowball earth hypothesis…
These separate ends, written about separately.

I hope to see stories about "well, what will your character do in an emergency, and how do they act?" in this series.
Now, there are many characters with personnel files, but how many of them appear in more than one article or Tale? How many have their own tag? Even less.
I'd be happy if you chose this series as a foothold for such characters — specifically, as a stage on which you think about "hm, how would they act?" Whether your character contributed or not to fighting certain extinction. I'm sure it will all become a beautiful story.
The "I" in I-say Age refers to "I", who weaves this series, and therefore "you" as well. I'm looking forward to your contribution to I-say Age.

As I explored in The Last Days of the Great Evil, I think a unique part of this series is that we can focus not just on the anomalous world but also on people like you and me, living in normal society.
The view of death approaching from an anomalous "snowball earth hypothesis" is both filled with desolation and beautiful… What personality do they, who see such a world, have? What kind of life have they led? As they wait for their last moments, what do they think about as they die, or resist death?
The Foundation, GoIs, objects, and civilians - I'm looking forward to your stories from various perspectives of the snow-white world. Isn't that what makes SCP so interesting?
Do I even need to write this on the SCP site if it has no relation to the anomalous? Well, there's no reason not to, so it's fine!

I'm looking forward to your I-say Age!!
All jokes aside, the new category When Life Starts Walking Again was added on 2021/06/07, when
renerd, author of Lighting a Tiny Fire, requested to add it, and the leader of Team Balkan Peninsula,
nemo111, obliged.
And just like that, I-say Age has 4 categories now (5 Quadrillion Years Later is the hall of fame, so there's basically only three), so if you want to write your article in a new position, it's perfectly fine.
I consider I-say Age to be a very flexible theme. So you might not know what you want to do. Actually I don't understand either… However, if you can write an article for this canon with your best methods, you're welcome to. If there's anything you don't understand about the canon, I can advise you (as long as I understand it). At the end of this long message, I'd like to say: I'm looking forward to your I-say age.
