Lily looked at herself in the mirror and fixed her collar.
Today was her big day, she was sure of it.
She managed to find herself a job and was starting it today. And luckily for her, it was a short one-minute walk away from her house.
On the way there, she noticed a small crowd gathering and looking at the soon-to-be-open restaurant. It worried her slightly, but she was ready to rise to the challenge.
She passed under the rather fancy-looking "Ambrose" sign and watched as her manager prepared to cut the opening ribbon.
Just a moment before the ribbon was cut, she blinked.
And when she opened her eyes, all she could see through the windows were rows upon rows of shelves.

Item #: SCP-008-PIG
Object Class: Memet
Special Containment Procedures: As SCP-008-PIG-1 instances immediately demanifest from baseline reality upon opening, containment procedures are not necessary.1
Communications are underway with Ambrose Restaurant's founder, Chaz Ambrose, in an attempt to get the franchise to stop attempting to open locations in Sweden.
UPDATE: Due to information gathered in Addendums I and II, no attempts to influence whether or not Ambrose Restaurants opens a location in Sweden are to happen. Embedded Foundation agents within Ambrose Restaurants are to attempt to be staffed within SCP-008-PIG-1 instances to get monitoring information within SCP-3008-1.
Description: SCP-008-PIG is an anomalous phenomenon that occurs to every Ambrose Restaurants location that attempts to open within the borders of Sweden.
These locations, hereafter designated as SCP-008-PIG-1, will undergo standard procedures before opening.2 However, as soon as the SCP-008-PIG-1 is considered "open", SCP-008-PIG will manifest and cause the SCP-008-PIG-1 instance to demanfiest from baseline reality.
The SCP-008-PIG-1 instance will then be replaced by a mundane restaurant location from a local chain with a new staff comprised of people from the town the SCP-008-PIG-1 instance was in. The instance's old staff demanifest along with the location.
"What do you mean they're all disappearing?!"
Chaz Ambrose walked back and forth within his office with an angry scowl on his face.
"Every time we open a location in Sweden it just vanishes and is replaced by another restaurant," Marius replied, hoping to calm the man down.
"How many times have we tried to open?"
"We have opened 10 separate locations and each of them vanished."
Ambrose stopped walking and turned to face his business partner. After five seconds of silence, he spoke.
"You handle the business side of this, don't you? Why did you think it was a sound financial decision to open a tenth location when the first nine all vanished?"
Ambrose waved his hands.
"Don't answer that, we're actually going to open another location in Sweden."
Marius raised an eyebrow.
"Are you sure?" he inquired.
"Yes, I'm sure," Ambrose replied. "In fact, I will be there to figure out what's happening myself."
Addendum I: During routine surveillance of SCP-3008-1,3 an Ambrose Restaurant location was spotted surrounded by several walls on June 15th, 2012, hereafter designated as SCP-008-PIG-A.
Continued surveillance of SCP-008-PIG-A has shown that occasionally approximately 20-30 new people exit the location. The times of these occurrences line up with manifestations of SCP-008-PIG.
SCP-008-PIG-A has several sinks surrounding it filled with dirt and several anomalous plants. At least once a day, someone within SCP-3008-1 will approach SCP-008-PIG-A and purchase a meal using a rudimentary form of currency. It is unknown if SCP-008-PIG-A introduced this currency or if it already existed prior to the first manifestation. It's thought that SCP-3008-1's inhabitants purchase food from SCP-008-PIG-A despite the fact that food regularly manifests for free within the location because SCP-008-PIG-A offers unique meals and ingredients not found elsewhere.
Ambrose stood behind the counter, determined to find out what was happening.
He hired several bodyguards from several different companies.
He also hired anomalous bodyguards who will try to keep his restaurant within baseline reality.
He watched intently as the ribbon-cutting ceremony was finishing.
He blinked.
And upon opening his eyes, he saw endless rows of shelves.
He also saw, however, a corpse of what appeared to be an IKEA staff member, and that gave him an idea.
Addendum II: On January 22nd, 2013, observation of SCP-008-PIG-A revealed that the founder of Ambrose Restaurants, Chaz Ambrose, has manifested within SCP-008-PIG-A.
According to recording equipment installed by embedded Foundation agents within SCP-008-PIG-1 instances, Ambrose has become the king of SCP-008-PIG-A.
