Item #: SCP-030-DE
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-030-DE is to be kept in a foam-lined gun case made from impact resistant plastic and measuring 78 x 31.5 x 12 cm. The case containing SCP-030-DE is kept in special Armory R.T.I.-01 within Site-DE██. Access to the chamber is only possible with a magnetic card held by the Site Director, and is restricted to authorised personnel with Level 4 Security Clearance.
Description: SCP-030-DE is a highly advanced assault rifle designated "Hammer-P1". The Hammer P1 is the only known assault rifle that does not require any conventional ammunition. SCP-030-DE was made from a single piece of an alloy of titanium and unidentifiable elements, giving it a very high durability. Exceptions to this are the trigger, the fire select lever and the sight, which are made from plastic, steel, aluminium, fiberglass and carbon fiber. No way to disassemble the weapon without destroying it is known. The exterior of SCP-030-DE is the same as on SCP-047-DE and SCP-0██-DE. The plating makes the weapon very robust and resistant to external influences. Since this weapon does not require conventional ammunition, it has no muzzle and no magazine for reloading the weapon. Following several tests it is still uncertain whether SCP-030-DE is making use of an anomaly or whether this is a pure energy weapon. It has three modes: single fire, burst and continuous fire. A constantly lit green LED is mounted on the lower end of the butt of SCP-030-DE. Beneath this LED are the words "Battery Status". On the butt is also the battery compartment, but opening the compartment or removing the battery have so far been unsuccessful since the cover is fused to the gun. This is the case for all examples of the Hammer-P1 series.
The Logo of Raptor Tec. Industries is present on both the rifle and its case.
SCP-030-DE is a Raptor Tec. Industries prototype. The German Foundation ordered ██ units to improve the efficacy of MTF units in combat with SCP objects, and 20 pieces were delivered. When Raptor Tec. Industries delivered SCP-030-DE on the 15th August 20██, no information was known about their exact functioning.
Function: Several Tests of SCP-030-DE on animals and later on D Class personnel showed the following effects on living organisms: if the Hammer is aimed at a living target and activated, the user feels no recoil from the weapon and hears no gunshot sound, only a slight hum. If the target is hit, the result is broken bones or crushed organs, depending on the location of the impact. The only exception is the skin, which is not damaged in any way. There are also no bullet or exit holes in affected creatures, since SCP-030-DE fires without projectiles. Subsequent autopsies showed no type of projectile or the like inside test subjects. Firing at non-living objects had no effect.
Some tests of SCP-030-DE on animals and later on class D personnel showed the following effect on living organisms: If the hammer is aimed at a living target and activated, the user does not feel any recoil of the weapon. Also, no shot noise can be heard; only a slight hum can be heard. If the target is hit, depending on the location of the hit, bones or organs are broken/crushed. The only exception is the skin, which is not damaged in any way. There are no bullet or exit holes in affected creatures, as SCP-030-DE shoots without projectiles. Subsequent autopsies showed no type of projectile or the like in test subjects. Firing at inanimate objects had no effect.
Addendum: on the 20th July 20██, the American Foundation submitted a request for SCP-030-DE to be delivered to Area-14 (Armed Biological Containment Area-14) for the purpose of testing on SCP-682.
A response from the German Foundation is still pending.
Animal Test Series 1
Note: Animal Testing was the first attempt to understand SCP-030-DE. The experiments were performed by Dr. Hass and his assistant. The aim was to determine the damage potential and range of SCP-030-DE. The tests were carried on the shooting range of Site-DE██. As targets, pigs, cows, horses and five elephants were used, to test the damage on larger living creatures.
[Test Series 1 - Access Denied!]
Summary: After a series of 59 Tests on animals, the following conclusions could be drawn: SCP-030-DE has a range of up to 326 meters. When estimating the damage potential, the damage was observed to always be the same, even at a distance of 326 meters. Beyond this range, SCP-03-DE has no effect.
D Class Personnel Test Series 01-03
Note: The D Class Personnel Test Series was carried out after numerous animal tests at the request of Dr. Hass. O5-██ Clearance was issued. Testing took place at an underground Foundation shooting range. D Class Personnel were fixed in a standing position. Dr Hass's assistant is to fire SCP-030-DE. D Class Personnel that survive the tests must then be terminated and transferred to [REDACTED] for autopsy.

Autopsy Report:
Unnatural death due to destruction of multiple organs, verified by sure signs of death.
Specific Findings:
Externally, no injury is visible; Abdominal tissue colliquation, no reliable assignment to organs possible; multiple comminuted fractures, particularly of the spine and pelvis; all caused by massive acts of violence; which could have come from a steamroller.
Appendix: Subject D-559 was pregnant. This condition was overlooked when D-559 was reclassified as Class D personnel two months ago. This was the fault of an unreliable Foundation employee, disciplinary measures follow.
D-559 Fetal Autopsy Report:
- The fetus was discovered during D-559's autopsy.
- It displays no signs of damage from SCP-030-DE.
- Gestational Age: 13 weeks; deceased following the death of D-559.
Summary: Through testing on animals and Class D personnel, it has been conclusively determined that this weapon is highly lethal. Test series 3 follows, if SCP-030-DE also passes these tests it is clear that it is the perfect weapon.
Testing with various armor and obstructions
Summary: The armor and obstacle Test Series was requested following successful testing with D Class personnel. The tests were carried out by Dr. Hass and his assistant. In order to obtain results, the tests used both animals and Class D personnel. All tests took place in the [REDACTED] facility.

- When the tank was opened, the dead of D-311 could be confirmed.
Results:
The Leopard 2 PSO/2A7+ is one of the best armored vehicles in the world. Despite this heavy armor, it offers no protection from SCP-030-DE.
Results:
Test 04 Lead Wall
Test Subject: Pig
Obstruction: 0.5 Meter thick lead wall
Test:
- Dr, Hass gives the command to aim and shoot at the pig's position. [Assistant fires a shot]
- The pig is hit in the head. The sound of the skull shattering is audible.
- When the pig falls to the ground, deformation of the head is visible.
Results:
- A 0.5 meter thick lead wall provides no protection.
Summary: Three more tests were carried out that gave the same result and were therefore not listed. The following were tested: one meter thick steel wall; two meter thick concrete wall; 0.5 meter thick zinc wall. Therefore, it is believed that SCP-030-DE can penetrate any kind of fabric or metal, making it impossible for an enemy to take cover.
Project S/Hammer-P1-Suit
Project S/Hammer-P1-Suit requires Level 4 Security Clearance! Personnel who illegally gain access will be immediately terminated.
Project S/Hammer-P1-Suit
This Project was lead by Dr. Hass. It focuses on the Prototype S/Hammer-P1-Suit (S stands for Shield). After countless Tests with SCP-030-DE Dr. Hass succeeded in developing effective protection against SCP-030-DE.
Construction: The S/Hammer-P1-Suit is a full body suit fitted with thirty small magnetic coils. These coils are interconnected and draw their power from a high performance power cell. The maximum running time of the cell is fifteen minutes. These coils generate a strong magnetic field that SCP-030-DE cannot penetrate. The total weight of the suit is forty kilograms.
Initial tests with D Class personnel demonstrated 100% protection from SCP-030-DE. Since the S/Hammer-P1-Suit is only a Prototype, the Foundation currently has no use for it. Due to its high cost, the project is being put on hold for now.
