Special Containment Procedures: All orange farms on the soil of the United States are to be put under surveillance. As with the procedures for other Ticonderoga entities, SCP-070-VN is being monitored by the Foundation while it still remains active outside of the Veil.

Description: SCP-070-VN is the designation for the 47th President of the United States – Donald John Trump, who is, in fact, an anomalous Valencia orange. Although the anomaly’s DNA is similar to normal humans, the formation and differentiation of its epidermis follow the developmental process of a normal Valencia orange. Over time, its outer tissue layer undergoes pigment change from chlorophyll to carotenoid, along with the formation of essential oil glands and a rough skin texture typical of ripe oranges¹. This process is synchronized with SCP-070-VN’s biological aging² and is not affected by surrounding factors.

Besides making efforts to mimic human behaviors and working as the President of the United States, SCP-070-VN usually does not show any other traits of a Valencia orange, except for occurrences that have been documented by the Department of Anomalous Biology.

Based on the information and proof collected by our leads, unfortunately, I have no choice but to declare that the anomaly’s initial descriptions remain correct. Only God knows how many people in our department used to pray that our incumbent president is only an eccentric individual. Instead, that very characteristic of his turns out to be an anomaly that the Foundation has not gotten hold of.

Of course you will not believe this right away, so I have attached a list of highly unusual events related to it.

• At roughly 02:30 EST, 09/11/2016, during the inauguration ceremony of the President of the United States, it was noticed that a large number of attendees had tears in their eyes. Civil records associated this phenomenon with natural emotional reactions; however, the Foundation retroactive analysis showed that SCP-070-VN had released a high quanity of limonene into the atmosphere during its inauguration speech.
• Since 2017, The White House has recorded a sharp decrease of ants and other insects compared to their previous distribution at the estate.
• The rate of resignation, dismissal and relegation of staff working directly with SCP-070-VN is statistically higher compared to previous United States governments. Per the most agreed upon theory, the resignation of related individuals was due to the anomaly inadvertently disseminating ethylene into the atmosphere.

SCP-070-VN is “showing off” in front of the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu.

• After the unsuccessful assassination of SCP-070-VN on 13/07/2024, Foundation secret agents have noted that the anomaly tends to display its epidermis more frequently in front of other human beings. This behavior has led to SCP-070-VN’s decision of replacing former President Barack Obama’s official portrait with its own picture on 11/04/2025. Although the Executive Office of the President explained that this decision was only symbolic, we believe the actual purpose was a natural manifestation of a Valencia orange’s instinct to display its state of ripeness.
• On 09/07/2025, SCP-070-VN announced its plan of applying a 50% tariff on all imported goods originating from Brazil, which was supposed to be in effect from 01/08/2025. Although the official goal of this was to protect the United States’ economic profit and national security, a Foundation theory claimed that this decision mainly originated from the competitive nature among Citrus sinensis (sweet orange) instances, given that Brazil is the world’s largest exporter of orange juice.

We have promptly devised a new designation to classify SCP-070-VN in our documents as the first of its kind. "Orange-human entity", a sub-branch within the system of anomalous fruit-based entities.

Thank you for stepping in and assisting in obtaining this valuable information for us. To avoid taking up more of your time, I will share the most noticeable characteristics of the anomaly in this email.

SCP-070-VN’s nature was correctly identified. Not a Navel orange, not a blood orange nor a red orange, it is precisely a Valencia orange – no mistakes on that. Trump’s diet during the last 10 years included no signs of “orange”, I guess this is a good thing as it’s not practicing cannibalism?

One staff member working on the logistics team has reported that the White House restricts the use of the word “orange” in internal discussion. Another point is that certain items on the inventory lists of goods transferred into the warehouse have been redacted using black bars or replaced with the phrase “that round thing/object”. The White House first ordered these goods after the assassination. We have quickly secured the video recording of that very short treatment session (the tape was sold on the anomalous black market, with a steep discount to 2 dollars and 13 cents).

The filming individual adjusted the hidden camera, which was seemingly attached to the individual’s left shirt pocket. Donald Trump was lying on top of an operation table. In contrast to what was reported on mainstream media, in the tape, Trump was confirmed to have been shot into its lower abdomen, instead of the bullet only going by the side of its right ear. There were no standard appliances for a medical operation on the table; instead, these were replaced with food wax, a glass containing a liquid substance similar to orange juice, and a basket of Valencia oranges. Five unidentified individuals wearing medical doctor attires were present.

One of these individuals began the anesthesia by injecting an unknown brown, viscous substance into Donald Trump’s abdomen. After the anesthesia, the five individuals moved the subject into a tub filled with the fungal remover Imazalli (some empty bottles of this product were seen next to the tub). As the subject was submerged, the wound on its lower abdomen continued to bleed. However, as the blood was mixed into the solution in the tub, its color gradually changed from red to orange.

After roughly twenty minutes of soaking the subject, two out of the five individuals approached the basket filled with Valencia oranges on the table, taking out all the oranges and directly arranged them on the floor of the operating room into a shape similar to SCP-070-VN³. The other individuals lifted the subject out of the tub and placed it in the middle of the orange arrangement, before an individual picked up the glass with orange fluid from before and pour the liquid into the subject’s mouth. A few minutes afterwards, SCP-070-VN showed signs of regaining consciousness.

Observations showed that the bullet wound on its abdomen had disappeared. No scar, stitching or any soft tissue damage was noticed at the corresponding position. The remainder of the tape contained no other anomalous phenomenon.

The filming individual moved their hand towards the recording device and pressed a button as the video ended.

And there you have it, the President is capable of rapid resurrection through Valencia oranges. This is more than enough evidence for us to conclude that this is the truth. I will attach the detailed documentation below.

Addendum.02: The Incident.

On 17/09/2025, an abnormal discoloration patch on the back of SCP-070-VN’s right hand was noticed during various public appearances. Although the White House’s official explanation stated that this occurrence resulted from repeated handshakes combined with the use of aspirin, the Department of Anomalous Biology have confirmed that this phenomenon is the beginning of the mold formation process often seen in oranges.

The Foundation is distributing all available resources to search for other orange-human and fruit-human entities with similar operational principles, in order to use as a potential replacements for SCP-070-VN in the future.

1. The essential oil glands, which normally belong to the citrus outer skin layer, penetrate the epidermis and create a thin membrane on top of the skin. Over time, on this membrane, lumpy pores with a diameter of 0,2 to 2 mm are formed and distributed with a density similar to what is often seen on normal oranges.

2. However, SCP-070-VN’s aging is noticeably delayed compared to that of non-anomalous oranges; on average, a Valencia orange changes its main outer pigment to carotenoid after 2 months of growing, whereas this process has been going on for about 80 years with SCP-070-VN, and still has not shown signs of completion.
