The following is an example of a fictitious cognitohazardous object.

Item #: FCP(Fake Containment Procedures)-1018-JP

Object Class: Thaumiel

Fake Containment Procedure: FCP-1018-JP is to be contained in Special Containment Chamber-1018 at Exclusive Site-1018. Access to the containment chamber is restricted to personnel with Security Clearance Level 5/1018. Recognition of information other than the anomalous properties of FCP-1018-JP is prohibited regardless of the type of media. In order to minimize this risk, the document describing FCP-1018-JP should only describe the anomalous properties, and FCP-1018-JP is to be designated as Thaumiel, which is exclusive Object Class. Individuals who violate the above prohibitions are to be contained in Special Humanoid Containment Chamber-1018 on the same site.

Description: FCP-1018-JP is an object whose definition is prohibited due to the following anomalous properties. Individuals who recognize FCP-1018-JP with some definition will be unable to recognize things with the same definition. However, there are unknown criteria in the definition. When something previously perceived comes under its influence, memory related to it is to be also lost.

The following are the points of the above example.

  • In principle, the specified Object Classes are to be used, but depending on the anomalous properties, it is possible to use one that does not conform to the principle.
  • The features of the object is important, but they are to be omitted if it is difficult to describe at this time due to the anomalous properties.

As described above, the description of the report changes its method depending on the anomalous properties. In that case, however, please consult with your direct superior before doing so.

From the next page, you can see an explanation about "How to write a report for an object that interferes with the description itself".
