Special Containment Procedures: SCP-1300 is currently being concealed by a Foundation front posing as an archeological site preservation organization, in cooperation with the government of the Republic of Shigastan. SCP-1300-JP-A instances are to be disposed of through the use of a high-temperature incinerator.

Description: SCP-1300-JP is a phenomenon in which dead Saiga antelopes (Saiga tatarica, designated SCP-1300-JP-A) appear inside the Ruins of the Shigastan Cathedral, northeast of the Caspian Sea, at a rate of ██ per day. At the time of occurrence, a black hole opens out of nowhere, manifesting the corpse, dropping it onto the floor.

SCP-1300-JP was discovered when a portion of the Ruins of the Shigastan Cathedral collapsed. It’s believed that the collapse was caused by ██████ SCP-1300-JP-A instances discovered amidst the rubble.

When disposing of SCP-1300-JP-A instances through incineration and pulverization, people in the vicinity will be affected by auditory hallucinations of screams and death throes. If multiple specimens are disposed of at once, the hallucinations increase in scale as the number of individuals increase. During the 1st disposal of SCP-1300-JP-A instances, ██████ people were affected within a 50km radius of the site, with personnel closest to the site on indefinite medical care.

SCP-1300-JP-A’s main common traits are the following:

  • Between 1 and 2 years of age1
  • Always female
  • circle-like symbol carved on them
  • Heart removed through use of primitive surgical methods
  • Recently deceased
