SCP-131-JP

Item #: SCP-131-JP

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-131-JP is located at Site-81431 It is contained in a high-intensity humanoid containment chamber, which is soundproofed and contaminated by radiation. Meals are provided once every two weeks. Excrement from the septic tank attached to the chamber are to be examined and checked for radioactivity. SCP-131-JP has been falsely informed that it is emitting a high dose of radiation, and research is underway to cure it. Personnel coming into contact with SCP-131-JP are to wear radiation hazmat suits. If it is determined that the risk of a containment breach has increased, amnestics for SCP-131-JP will be approved.

Description: SCP-131-JP is a Japanese woman who has undergone an anomalous procedure. She has 16 surgical scars on her body. SCP-131-JP is able to operate without breathing, and her body, including her hair and nails, exhibit the ability to completely absorb radiation. SCP-131-JP can sense radioactive materials and the intensity of their emissions. However, since she is unable to perceive substances placed in containers with anti-radiation measures. It is believed that her ability to detect radiation is by the surface of her body. During experiments, SCP-131-JP was able to withstand pressures of 200 MPa and 2000℃. It successfully lifted a dump truck (10.5 t). SCP-131-JP's endurance and physical ability are believed to be even higher than the results obtained in the experiments. SCP-131-JP has lost the ability to secrete liquids such as sweat or tears.

SCP-131-JP converts substances taken into its body through the esophagus into iron before excreting them. The process of the conversion remains unknown due to obstacles such as the melting of the endoscope when passing through the esophagus. Excretion occurs at a normal rate, and no anomalous properties have been observed in the iron. The internal pressure of SCP-131-JP is expected to be extremely high, but the reason why material does not erupt from the esophagus and anus is unknown. Even when consuming hard objects such as metal, it is able to eat them in the same way as a normal meal.

The internal pressure of SCP-131-JP is expected to be extremely high, but the reason why internal substances do not erupt from the esophagus and anus is unknown. Even when taking in hard objects such as metal, it has been confirmed to eat in the same way as a normal meal. Depending on the item and the amount consumed, its body weight can exceed 200 kg, but it is able to lead a normal life unimpeded. SCP-131-JP seems to aquire physical strength when converting substances into iron. It may explain how SCP-131-JP is able to perform activities in anoxic conditions, and exhibit muslce strength unexpected from its appearance.

Based on documents recovered from the Japan Organisms Improvement and Creation Laboratory (JOICL) and the Foundation's investigation, it is speculated that a nuclear reaction is taking place inside SCP-131-JP. An in-depth examination has been hampered by the possible danger.

Proposal: Due to its absorbtion of radiation, is it possible that we can use SCP-131-JP to solve the problem at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant? The reactors and subsequent nuclear waste still emit high levels of radiations. We will be helping so many people. — Researcher ██

Proposal denied. The Foundation's mission is to protect humanity from the threat of anomalies, which includes the knowledge that such things exist in this world. The Foundation houses many objects that could change people's lives, for better or worse, so we must not use them to intervene in human affairs. The problems caused by mankind must be solved by mankind. — O5-3
