Item #: SCP-1627-JP
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-1627-JP and the research samples of SCP-1627-JP-1 are to be kept in standard medium-sized containment chambers. In case a new SCP-1627-JP-1 emerges, it is to be isolated and decommissioned by specialized personnel.
Description: SCP-1627-JP is an aggregate of tacos weighing 12.7 kg, which causes individuals who perceive it to recognize it as a domesticated dog (Canis lupus familiaris) of the American Cocker Spaniel breed. On objective scientific examination, SCP-1627-JP is detectable as a collection of ordinary and non-anomalous carnitas tacos (consisting of shredded pork, onions, coriander, and various herbs); despite this, persons who have direct visual and/or physical contact with SCP-1627-JP claim to perceive the same appearance, smell, and touch as an American Cocker Spaniel, and also are affected by a wide range of other cognitive alterations.
SCP-1627-JP releases an SCP-1627-JP-1 instance from within it once a month. SCP-1627-JP-1 is a miscellaneous collection of ingredients that make up a carnitas taco, consisting of tortillas and other materials typical of SCP-1627-JP. Although it appears through the video that SCP-1627-JP produces and releases these ingredients from within its tortilla over the course of several hours, direct observation perceives this to be a common birthing process for a dog. SCP-1627-JP-1 exhibits the same cognitohazardous properties as SCP-1627-JP, causing it to be recognized on direct contact as an American Cocker Spaniel puppy.
SCP-1627-JP-1 acts in the same way as normal foodstuffs, and can be ingested harmlessly. Decommissioning of SCP-1627-JP-1 is to be conducted by personnel psychologically capable of consuming live puppies.
