Description: SCP-2358-JP refers to a series of human fatalities presumed to have occurred between 05-27-2018 and 05-29-2018. All instances were discovered on 05-29-2018, and it is presumed that the occurrence of numerous instances and their traces were left under public scrutiny.

Addendum: Detailed anomalous properties of SCP-2358-JP are currently under investigation; Object Class and Special Containment Procedures will be formally enacted as soon as the minimum necessary information is finalized.

The following list is the order of discovery of the instances that have been identified so far.

Category #: SCP-2358-JP-1

Summary: Incident is presumed to have occurred on a sidewalk in Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture. The traces are bloodstains scattered on the road and the corpses of four males and females. The bodies had been stabbed repeatedly, with several wounds and no signs of resistance. All victims are presumed to have been killed around 18:30, 05-28-2018.

Among the civilians who claimed to have witnessed the occurrence or traces of SCP-2358-JP, a person claimed that the crime was committed by a man with blood stains on his clothes. However, upon questioning witnesses on why they had left the incident unattended, they were confused and could not provide a definite answer.

Summary: Incident is presumed to have occurred within the police station in Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture. The traces are bloodstains scattered indoors and the corpses of three police officers. The bodies had been stabbed repeatedly, with several wounds and no signs of resistance. All victims are presumed to have been killed around 8:30, 05-28-2018.

On 05-28-2018 at 08:28, a surveillance camera installed at the entrance of the police station recorded a man entering the station with a large amount of blood stains on his clothing. The man proceeded to stab and kill the police officer at the reception desk with a knife he was carrying, the police officer showed no resistance. After killing three persons, the man exited the station. At this time, all individuals at the scene, including the police officer who was reviewing the footage, did not react to the man.

Among the civilians and police officers who claimed to have witnessed the occurrence or traces of SCP-2358-JP, a person claimed that the crime was committed by a man with blood stains on his clothes. However, upon questioning witnesses on why they had left the incident unattended, they were confused and could not provide a definite answer.

Summary: Incident is presumed to have occurred on a river bed in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture. The traces were blood stains scattered on the river bed and the corpses of three presumed to be homeless males. The bodies had suffered several wounds following strangulation, with no signs of resistance. The bodies were submerged in the river bed and victims are presumed to have been killed around 23:30, 05-27-2018.

The method of killing the persons was consistent with the series of homeless murders that have occurred in Yokohama City. Among the civilians who claimed to have witnessed the occurrence or traces of SCP-2358-JP, a person claimed that the crime was committed by a man with blood stains on his clothes. However, upon questioning witnesses on why they had left the incident unattended, they were confused and could not provide a definite answer.

Summary: Incident is presumed to have occurred on a river bed approximately 500m from the site of the SCP-2358-JP-4's occurrence. The traces are blood stains scattered on the river bed and the corpses of two persons, one male, and one female. The body of the male, presumed homeless, had suffered several wounds following strangulation and was submerged in the river bed. The body of the female was stabbed repeatedly, with a handkerchief over her face and a straight line of blood extending 3 meters from the corpse. Both victims showed signs of resistance and are presumed to have been killed around 22:40, 05-27-2018.

At 22:43 on 27-05-2018, a report was made to a nearby police station via the deceased woman's mobile phone, but it was not recorded other than the voice and noise of the telephone operator. At 22:51 on the same day, a report came to the police station on another mobile phone and stated that a person named Kazuki Osawa had committed the murder, but the telephone operator refused to respond further and dismissed it as a "malicious prank call."

The method of killing and leaving the male corpse was consistent with the series of homeless murders that have occurred in Yokohama City. Among the civilians and telephone operators who claimed to have witnessed the occurrence or traces of SCP-2358-JP, a person claimed that the crime was committed by a man with blood stains on his clothes. However, upon questioning witnesses on why they had left the incident unattended, they were confused and could not provide a definite answer.

Summary: Incident is presumed to have occurred on the railroad tracks of a station in Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture. The traces are bloodstains on the track and train and the corpse of a male. The body has been dismembered into several pieces and is presumed to have been run over by a train at 11:16 on 05-29-2018. Multiple human blood stains were found on the man's clothing.

At 11:13 on 05-29-2018, a surveillance camera installed on the platform of the station recorded a man appearing on the platform in surveillance footage recording of SCP-2358-JP-3. The man got off the platform and lay down on the tracks. At this time, all individuals at the scene, including the station staff who were reviewing the footage, did not react to the man. The vehicle, a rapid transit train, passed over the man without braking and passed without slowing down to the outside of the video. After the vehicle passed through, the body was recorded scattered across the tracks, but no one at the scene reacted. After that, the people on the platform gradually began to show signs of confusion, and a station attendant ran to the platform at 11:23 on the same day.

Upon questioning the civilians and station staff who claimed to have witnessed the occurrence or traces of SCP-2358-JP on why they had left the incident unattended, they were confused and could not provide a definite answer.
