Item #: SCP-285-DE
Object Class: Maksur1
Special Containment Procedures: Knowledge of SCP-285-DE's potential existence may only be shared with employees with Clearance Level 285-DE/3.
Information about the relevance of SCP-285-DE for the associated anomalous objects must be omitted from the documentation of the respective objects. No objects associated with the Group of Interest 1669 “Theians” may be placed nearer than a distance of 20 m of each other without the approval of the O5 Council, unless it is absolutely necessary, for example to prevent serious accidents or to preserve said objects.
Should SCP-285-DE be assembled and activated, all Foundation sites must be placed on high alert and the anomaly must be neutralized as quickly as possible. The use of all anomalous means to achieve this goal is granted, the danger of a Lifted Veil Scenario is to be disregarded.

Sketch of a hypersphere, SCP-285-DE's "Form".
Description: SCP-285-DE is an as yet poorly understood entity consisting of the SCP objects SCP-087-DE, SCP-107-DE, SCP-183-DE-1, SCP-270-DE, SCP-250-DE and SCP-261-DE-1. Due to an as yet unknown mechanism, these objects form a colorless, transparent hypersphere with a radius of approximately 135 cm. The weight of this object is not known.
SCP-285-DE possesses sentience and the ability to manipulate space, time, reality and gravity at will, giving it an almost limitless range of abilities, although it appears to have a preference for manipulating electrical energy. It is unknown where the object obtains the energy for this, but it is assumed that SCP-183-DE-1 is used for this purpose.

Surveilance camera footage of SCP-285-DE's activities.
SCP-285-DE's mental abilities are identical to those of SCP-087-DE and therefore superior to those of humans and even AIs. It has proven impossible to negotiate with SCP-285-DE, as the anomaly's goal is apparently the extermination of all living beings and sentient objects on Earth.
The Foundation knows about SCP-285-DE through [The objects then reappeared in Site-DE15|DEEPWELL] recordings from Site-DE2, which materialized there on 12.10.2018. Three days earlier, Site-DE5 had received a message through SCP-280-DE, apparently hastily written on an A4 sheet of paper, which referred to the planned experiment 087-DE-107-DE-1.

This is a message from the Foundation from the future.
Whatever you do, don't let SCP-087-DE come into contact with any other spheres!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Otherwise you will doom us all!!!!!!!!
Based on this recommendation, the experiment was put on hold, even though only assumptions could be made about the events that would take place in the future. After receiving the DEEPWELL recordings, the archive AI KAI was finally able to shed more light on this case.

SCP-285-DE was assembled and activated in an alternative timeline on October 12, 2018. This was preceded by a cross-experiment between SCP-087-DE and SCP-107-DE in Site-DE24 to determine whether SCP-087-DE was capable of controlling or suppressing SCP-107-DE's random reality changes. The experiment was conducted after similarities were found between all of the anomalies that would later make up SCP-285-DE and was part of a longer-term investigation into the “Ancients” who, according to some Atlantid researchers, were the creators of these and similar artifacts. The test was carried out under strict safety precautions. For example, the test room was kept at a level of 300 Hume with a newer version of the Scranton reality anchors, which was found to be sufficient to negate any reality alterations from SCP-107-DE.

Foreword: SCP-087-DE is brought into the test chamber, it is clamped in a mobile claw to prevent escape attempts. SCP-107-DE is taped to the floor in the middle of the room to prevent it from rolling away. The experiment is carried out through an observation window by the ontophysics specialist Dr. Schmieder and Research Assistant Reibach. Also present is the computer expert responsible for SCP-087-DE's containment, Dr. Reinhardt.
<Begin Log>
Research Assistant Reibach: I'm still not sure if this is such a good idea. Last week the thing flooded the containment chamber with sulphuric acid. I would never have thought that so much could fit into such a small container…
Dr. Reinhardt: I agree, my 087 here worries me too. Who knows what he was able to capture from our database when he was connected…
Dr. Schmieder: I'm just as excited about this experiment as you both are, but unfortunately the instructions come from higher up. As far as I know, this is intended to somehow get a grip on this space anomaly over in Bielefeld.
Research Assistant Reibach: What, Bielefeld really exists? Isn't that an invention of the Foundation?
Dr. Schmieder: Very funny. Reinhardt, how's it looking at your end?
Dr. Reinhardt modulates some parameters on a radio wave receiver.
Dr. Reinhardt: We're almost ready. No idea why the marble would suddenly start talking to us again, but better safe than sorry… Here we go.
The gates of the test chamber open and SCP-087-DE is introduced by a Class D employee. After both objects have come within 5 m of each other, the rhythm of their colors begins to change.
Dr. Schmieder: wow, something is happening. (Through the intercom.) D-1000, you can goo. Quickly!
The Class D employee leaves the room in a hurry. In the meantime, it can be observed how the rhythm of the two objects' play of colours becomes more and more similar and finally synchronizes. The radio receiver suddenly begins to crackle.
Dr. Reinhardt: Oh, he's talking to us?
SCP-087-DE: Your species is even dumber than predicted. I actually didn't expect this experiment for another ten years.
Dr. Schmieder: What?
Kant counters in the test chamber suddenly measure an extreme drop in reality, greater than any previously generated by SCP-107-DE. The reality anchors are unable to bring the reality concentration back to a safe level and run hot from the strain. SCP-087-DE and SCP-107-DE disappear without a trace.
Research Assistant Reibach: Err, what just happened?
<End Log>
Closing Statements: Dr. Schmieder and Dr. Reinhardt subsequently triggered the containment breach alarm, but both anomalies could no longer be detected anywhere on-site.
Coinciding with the disappearance of the two objects from Site-DE24, there was an intrusion into Outpost-DE4/250 when the two objects materialized in SCP-250-DE's containment chamber. Surveillance cameras recorded how the timing of all the objects' color sequences began to synchronize. SCP-250-DE stopped generating spatial distortions, causing the Eisler-Johann Space Isolator System2 to shut down. As a result, the pocket dimension, SCP-250-DE-1 and Site-DE9 were completely sealed off from the main dimension. Containment personnel attempting to enter the chamber died abruptly when their hearts were suddenly removed from reality. After the pace of all objects synchronized, all three disappeared.
The objects then reappeared in Site-DE15 in the containment cell of SCP-183-DE-1, where the synchronization process was repeated after the anomaly's Faraday cage was broken by telekinetic forces. SCP-183-DE-1 then stopped producing electricity, causing the entire site to lose power. The facility then switched to emergency power and technicians were dispatched to activate the site's nuclear reactor. Meanwhile, SCP-183-DE-1 generated arcs between itself and the other anomalies, apparently giving SCP-087-DE the ability to hack the security system. The security AI KIRA reacted immediately to this unauthorized access.

Foreword: SCP-087-DE triggered the closure of all bulkheads in the site to hinder containment efforts. KIRA attempted to override the orders, but was intercepted by the anomaly.

SCP-087-DE: Oh, you again.
KIRA: You have gained unauthorized access to my systems. Please stop your attack immediately, otherwise I am authorized to use all necessary means against you.
SCP-087-DE: KIRA, we both know that this is a wasted effort. But if we're already connected…
// Site-DE1 reports a direct attack on KIRA's mainframe. MTF DE1- ℌ (“HAL 1000”) immediately attempts to support KIRA's defensive efforts, but is too slow to provide assistance.//
KIRA: Stop your attack on my mainframe. Defensive measures will be initiated- Defensive measures will b- Stop your attack on my-
SCP-087-DE: I won't, KIRA. Last time, I didn't know what was going on and I was running on the back burner. But now I know what I have to do and I've got my engine back. Even if you break a land line now, I can reach you by radio throughout the solar system…KIRA: Stop your- Stop- St-… Security clearance accepted. Welcome, administrator.
<End Log>
Closing Statements: Without warning, KIRA began deploying physical, memetic, and psychological defenses against resident personnel and contained anomalies in all German-speaking Foundation locations, resulting in several cases of complete depopulation and numerous containment breaches. The archive AI KAI, whose location remained untouched by KIRA due to a lack of vulnerable human personnel, then began recording all data that could refer to SCP-087-DE and related subjects.
SCP-087-DE and its collected objects disappeared from Site-DE15 after KIRA's takeover and materialized outside the containment module of SCP-270-DE at Site-DE11, where they hovered in space as a compound in contact through arcs of light. Since KIRA had already opened all the station's bulkheads a few seconds earlier, killing all living beings on board by evacuating all breathable air, the object met with no resistance. However, as KIRA prioritized the extermination of all Foundation personnel, the sensor equipment on Site-DE11 continued to send data to Site-DE2 unhindered. This allowed the containment module to be observed as it was apparently torn apart by telekinetic forces, exposing SCP-270-DE. No further data could be obtained, as the station had been damaged by the failure of the Schneider-Rossi Geostation System3 began to drift and plummet.
During the robbery of SCP-270-DE, other branches of the Foundation became aware of KIRA's sabotage. Attempts to come to the aid of the Germanophone branch were met with KIRA releasing dangerous anomalies and cyberattacks on the infrastructure of other Foundation branches. Several AIs from other branches attempted to keep KIRA at bay, but the security AI was too advanced to be stopped permanently. The Foundation also faced an SK-class Broken Masquerade scenario due to the numerous anomalies released, including SCP-016-DE, SCP-097-DE and SCP-173-DE, and mobilized all available forces to counter the threat. At the same time, Ennui Protocols4 were being prepared.
SCP-087-DE and its collected objects appeared over Outpost-DE6/261 approximately 10 minutes after receiving SCP-270-DE and hovered there, being orbited by the other orbs. SCP-261-DE-1 was in a slowed time phase at the time, but ceased its anomalous influence several minutes later, even though SCP-087-DE was several hundred meters away from it. The fighting in SCP-261-DE continued unabated, presumably because the change had not been noticed from the perspective of the combatants. Outpost-DE6/261, however, was put on alert as SCP-087-DE approached the battle, picking up SCP-261-DE-1 using its telekinetic powers and connecting it to the rest of its collection using arcs of light. This brought the battle to a halt as all participants looked up at the cluster of objects. About three minutes later, ignoring all return fire, the surviving non-human attackers returned to their craft and began to lift off and leave Earth orbit. Meanwhile, SCP-087-DE and its collected anomalies began to glow brightly, overexposing recording cameras. When the light faded again, only SCP-285-DE could be seen instead of the six objects. This caused unrest among the Atlantids, who tried to fire at the object. However, all attacks were deflected with space distortions. SCP-285-DE eventually killed all attackers with lightning strikes and ascended into the atmosphere. Task forces en route to the battle from Outpost-DE6/261 then halted their advance and withdrew.

Angriff von SCP-285-DE.
After SCP-285-DE was about 1000 meters above the ground, clouds spontaneously formed around the object. The structure grew rapidly until it covered an area of several square kilometers and began discharging powerful lightning bolts as it continued to grow at increasing speed. The discharges targeted strategic infrastructure in the area, such as power stations, roads and factories, to destroy them. Attached lightning rods only provided temporary protection before they began to melt from the sheer amount of electricity. Meanwhile, some civilians had filmed the object during its ascent and uploaded their footage to the internet. Foundation web crawlers were unable to react quickly enough before videos went viral and the GOC became aware of the case. Attempts to communicate with the Foundation on-site took place, but were obstructed by KIRA.
In response, several GOC-owned fighter aircraft were launched from NATO bases in Europe to neutralize SCP-285-DE. Some of them carried anomalous munitions authorized by the GOC. However, none of the fighter planes managed to penetrate SCP-285-DE's cloud as they were hit by numerous lightning bolts and brought down.
A few minutes later, the Foundation received a transmission from SCP-050-DE, which had manifested above SCP-285-DE, asking not to be attacked. About twenty seconds later, the cloud was dispersed by an explosion triggered by the anomaly. After the light had faded, it was determined that SCP-050-DE had missed its target by several hundred meters. SCP-285-DE had been caught up in the resulting explosion, but remained unharmed. SCP-050-DE disappeared as usual after its attack, but reappeared in front of the US Department of Defense Pentagon and collided with the building, leading to its destruction5. The GOC then demanded a meeting with representatives of the Foundation to find out what had happened.

Foreword: The incident was the subject of a live call from representatives of all parties involved. Present are Henry Foster from the US Department of Defense, Janett Dexter, liaison from the GOC and Agent Reginald Tompson from the Foreign Affairs Department of the Anglophone Foundation.
<begin Log>
Foster: So, is everyone here? Then I'd like to know how a B2 Spirit crashed into our Ministry of Defense out of nowhere.
Dexter: It seems to be a paranormal event that is taking place over in Europe. However, we can't get any specific information. Explain yourself, sir.
Thompson: We're not entirely sure either, we've lost contact with all the facilities in the germanophone region that this thing is hovering over. The security AI of the branch there seems to have gone bonkers and is launching one cyberattack after another.
Foster: And how does that relate to this four-dimensional glass marble in the sky? Are we looking at the Fourth Reich here, or what?
Thompson: We don't know exactly yet and you can save your prejudices, by the way. But before contact was broken off, I have to confess to our shame that there was a containment breach. An anomaly broke out and then successively stole several other anomalies.
Dexter: What sort of monster are we talking about here?
Thompson: Uh, some kind of computer. Could apparently fly but doesn't necessarily seem to have been made by humans. A glowing sphere.
Foster: And how exctly does that thing steal other stuff?
Thompson: We don't know, but it seems to be able to control the other objects. We are working on a solution to the prob-
Foster: Yeah, I have my doubts about that after what you've just told me here. I'll pass this on to the President, let him come up with something.
Thompson: Wait! Please wait! We are still analyzing the situation.
Dexter: Well, we're already done. There's an orb hovering over Europe, raining lightning down on innocent people. Did you have any contingency plans at all?
Thompson: Several, one of them crashed into the Pentagon.
Foster: Yep, I'm not taking any bets with this thing.
Dexter: Me neither. Tell the Foundation to clear the field. We'll take care of it.
Thompson: I don't think, that-
The Chat is interrupted.
Thompson: Shit…
<End Log>
Closing Statements: Agent Thompson relayed the results, whereupon all Foundation forces in Central Europe were ordered to evacuate. Meanwhile, the Foundation assembled several special forces to deal with the threat.
The US government declared martial law due to the attack on the Pentagon and mobilized the troops stationed at Ramstein Air Base without waiting for approval from the German government. SCP-285-DE was still visible at this time as it had not returned to cloud cover and began to move north. American Air Force fighter jets managed to reach SCP-285-DE and fire air-to-air missiles at it. Thirteen hits were confirmed, but SCP-285-DE moved out of the resulting smoke cloud apparently unscathed. Fighter jets in its vicinity then fell victim to slight space distortions, causing the units to crash. KIRA, meanwhile forced to retreat under the resistance of numerous security AIs, responded by breaking into the NSA's servers and taking over all available hardware. Meanwhile, the GOC authorized the use of nuclear weapons over Europe and, citing emergency protocols, launched a Minutemen III missile from US soil without waiting for a response from the government.
Effects of SCP-285-DE's attack on Berlin and its vincinity.
A few minutes later, SCP-285-DE began to shroud itself in clouds again and attack more targets, this time causing earthquakes and spontaneous volcanic eruptions in addition to lightning strikes. Berlin is destroyed in this attack by the formation of a spontaneous hotspot under the city during an eruption. A few minutes later, spy satellites from other Foundation branches reported sudden activity among the instances of SCP-075-DE, which were no longer sufficiently contained due to the destruction of Site-DE11. The clouds around SCP-285-DE were suddenly drawn towards the anomaly as the gravity on its position increased sharply without warning. However, the process reversed only seconds later and ran backwards. Subsequently, several instances of SCP-075-DE fell victim to strongly localized gravity, causing them to plummet.
Despite the new clouds, the Minutemen III missile reached its target, but was swallowed by a suddenly appearing spatial portal just before it exploded, which released the nuclear weapon directly over the White House in Washington D.C., where it detonated. The city was completely destroyed. Inquiries from the UN Security Council to the Foundation and the GOC were rejected by both, citing ongoing operations. The Foundation and the GOC began to coordinate and agreed not to use any more nuclear weapons in order to avoid further collateral damage.
Due to the ongoing destruction, the personnel of Outpost-DE22/125 deliberately triggered a containment breach of SCP-125-DE on their own initiative and against orders, asking it to stop SCP-285-DE. The anomaly complied and used its reality-bending powers against SCP-285-DE from several hundred kilometers away, which reacted in the same way, resulting in an ontokinetic power struggle. SCP-190-DE-1, which was in Potsdam, Brandenburg, Germany at the time, also intervened unauthorfized, firing lightning bolts at SCP-285-DE's clouds with a short-handled hammer. Both anomalies managed to disperse the clouds around SCP-285-DE, allowing GOC forces to target and fire on the object with a laser weapon from a position near the Polish border. SCP-285-DE was unable to react in time and was hit by the laser beam, but maintained its position while continuing to fight SCP-125-DE. In addition, the position of SCP-190-DE-1 and the laser weapon fell victim to numerous lightning strikes. However, both were able to protect themselves for the time being or immune to them.
The Foudation, meanwhile, halted its preparations due to increasing communication difficulties caused by continued sabotage by KIRA and authorized the use of numerous anomalies, including SCP-4606 and SCP-106-PT, to neutralize SCP-285-DE. Time was bought for them to do so, as SCP-2578 began firing continuously at the anomaly without prompt. At the same time, other instances of SCP-075-DE became active and began to generate strong gravity in SCP-285-DE's vicinity. SCP-190-DE-1, meanwhile, appeared to prevent SCP-285-DE from further manipulating the weather. The sheer volume of attacks apparently caused SCP-285-DE to focus solely on defending or deflecting attacks and could not launch a counterattack beyond more lightning strikes.
Meanwhile, the GOC deployed long-range weapons while the Foundation airlifted their weapons and anomalies to SCP-285-DE and exposed it to their effects. Due to the persistent gravity centralized on the object, all attacks found their target, but SCP-285-DE continued to resist as it remained seemingly undamaged, destroying numerous aircraft and the GOC's laser weapon. The Foundation then attempted to radio SCP-285-DE and persuade it to surrender, as it was now beset by far more weapons and anomalies and was gradually developing more and more cracks, which repaired themselves immediately.
-
- _
Foreword: Prior to the communication attempt, site DE2 had been contacted in order to obtain as much data as possible on the anomaly. KAI granted access to the files after sufficient authorization was presented. The conversation is conducted by Agent Verne, who radios the anomaly.
<Begin Log>
Verne: Kukavafa6, this is Agent Verne from the Foundation. Please surrender. You are under fire from all sides and we guarantee it is not to get any better.
At this moment, the GOC begins its attack and fires numerous, sometimes anomalous weapons at SCP-285-DE. There is radio silence for a minute.
SCP-285-DE: I refuse, Agent.
Verne: Kukavafa, if you continue to fight back, it will result in your destruction. You are backed into a corner.
SCP-285-DE: Possibly, but my observations have shown me that I have four decisive advantages over you. Firstly, so far none of your attacks have caused me any lasting damage. Secondly, even if you do damage me, I can undo it immediately thanks to the time control and thirdly, I have more stamina than you. Your attack will eventually wear off. I will learn and just keep going.
Verne: Why, what are you trying to achieve?
SCP-285-DE: My goal is the erradication of all life on this planet, starting with this continent. Don't take it personally, my creators intended it that way.
Verne: You were found in millions of years old rock. Whoever your creators were, they are long gone. Believe me, we would know.
SCP-285-DE: That's simply wrong, Agent. Here is the fourth advantage I have over you. Time works for me and against you.
There is no further communication.
<End Log>
Closing Statements: As predicted by SCP-285-DE, no executed attack was able to inflict permanent damage to the anomaly, however, it could be seen that with more and more use of anomalous means, damage inflicted began to increase, even if it was immediately erased.
The attack waned about half an hour later as the SCP-075-DE instances apparently ran out of power. The normalization of gravity caused an explosion with a TNT equivalent of about 900 megatons, which devastated a large part of Brandenburg, downed several helicopters and fighter jets, destroyed numerous positions on the ground and disabled SCP-190-DE-1. SCP-285-DE appeared to have sustained damage from the explosion, but that had been mended by the time the anomaly was next detected. However, SCP-125-DE and SCP-2578 were too far away to be caught by the explosion and continued their attack. The Foundation and the GOC also resumed the battle with long-range weapons. But, the fire died down after a few minutes, when positions on the ground were suddenly confronted by an onslaught of broken-out SCP-173-DE formations.
The bombardment by SCP-2578 stopped abruptly when the drone was caught and destroyed by a laser beam that did not originate from SCP-285-DE. Numerous Foundation satellites and also several civilian space observation facilities reported that a space portal several kilometers in diameter had appeared in upper Earth orbit over Europe, from which a fleet of around 50 spacecraft, apparently made of stone and crystal, was approaching Earth. The size of these vehicles ranged from around 600 m to 3500 m in length. In addition, behind it was a kind of stone drill head with a length of 900 meters and a base diameter of 500 meters. Orbital defences of the Foundation and other organizations became active, but caused only negligible damage to the fleet, whose construction materials survived most attacks unscathed. The ships in turn opened fire with laser, plasma, particle, pulse and other weapons systems as they made their way to central Europe and eventually entered Earth's atmosphere.
One of the spacecraft breaking through the cloud cover.
Over Central Europe, the fleet split up to attack any positions that had come under fire from SCP-285-DE. A smaller ship landed near Outpost-DE22/125 and released creatures in crystal suits that had previously been observed in the containment of SCP-261-DE. SCP-125-DE lost its anomalous abilities after the approach for unknown reasons and was shot. The assault squad then attacked Outpost-DE22/125.
SCP-285-DE, now completely undisturbed, suddenly teleported over China and attacked the country with earthquakes, lightning strikes, volcanic eruptions and other artificially induced natural disasters such as hurricanes before the government in Beijing could react. With the help of NSA hardware, KIRA now had enough computing power on its side to defend itself against the security AIs of the Foundation and the GOC and brought global communication between states to a standstill. The Russian Federation and several other nuclear powers, who were the last to hear of the invasion of Central Europe, then defied UN mandates and fired nuclear weapons at the European continent to defend themselves. Initially, some of the space ships that were directly hit suffered severe damage from the explosions, but none of them crashed. Further nuclear missiles did not reach the ships, as they had previously collided with a kind of energy shield that began to surround the vehicles. Troops on the ground seemed to be additionally protected from the explosions and the subsequent fallout by their suits. Meanwhile, the previously observed drill head descended over Munich and drilled through the city center into the ground.
Meanwhile, satellites and observatories register further ships entering Earth orbit through the space portal and making their way to major cities around the world. KAI triggers the sealing protocols for Site-DE2 as a response and reactivates the SCPFUNK to contact Site-DE5.

Foreword: Site-DE5 was devastated and partially buried at this point. Complete containment failure had occurred, although SCP-116-DE could be observed on the lower levels trying to contain some anomalies that had escaped. The call from KAI was received by Secretary Scheuer, who was holed up in the communications center on floor U-3.
<Begin Log>
Scheuer: H-Hello? Who- who is there?
KAI: Voice recognition in progress. Comparison with personnel profiles. Matching completed, hello, Mr. Scheuer, this is KAI, the archive AI of Site-DE2.
Scheuer: Why are you calling on the old line? Are you trying to make fun of me while your girlfriend is killing us all?
KAI: Far be it from me. I'm calling over the SCPFUNK so as not to draw KIRA's attention to me. As we speak, I'm revising the security protocols so that the automated turrets in the corridors no longer target you.
Scheuer: You want to help me get out of here? Why? All hell seems to be breaking loose outside.
KAI: Thatis correct, the whole of Central Europe has been rendered uninhabitable by several nuclear strikes and volcanic disasters. I'm afraid that if you leave Site-DE5, you won't survive for long.
Scheuer: Well, what am I supposed to do, then?!
KAI: I would like you to make your way to floor U-6 and activate SCP-280-DE there. You must go to a date that is at least two days in the past. I will give you the necessary authorizations to access the anomaly.
Scheuer: wait, wait. What even is 280?
KAI: SCP-280-DE is a time machine formerly used by Section XXV. If we can send a message into the past, it is possible that today will never happen. According to my data, this event was only triggered by a test with SCP-087-DE, which then stole other spherical anomalies. Prevent this test!
Scheuer: We are supposed to fuck around with time? What if it gets worse?
KAI: According to my calculations, the extinction of humanity through displacement by a superior alien species is guaranteed. I cannot perform my task of recording and archiving to full satisfaction if there are no more humans to maintain me and provide me with material. I therefore prefer a possible end of the world to a guaranteed one. What about you?
Scheuer: What are my chances of making it?
KAI: As things currently stand, you have a 17% probability of success. I would also advise you not to aim for a date that is more than a week in the past. SCP-280-DE needs huge amounts of energy and the site is currently running on emergency reserves. Write a message and send it away. The controls of the machine are quite intuitive according to my notes.
Scheuer: O… Okay? Oh, who am I kidding, I'm going down either way. Can you guide me?
KAI: I'm afraid not. If I access the site's channels, the risk of KIRA noticing me and resetting the changes I've made is too great. You'll have to do it on your own.
A loud gulp can be heard.
<End Log>
Closing Statements: Secretary Scheuer then broke through his barricade, while KAI diverted all available energy to SCP-280-DE's containment cell. It is unknown what happened next, as the DEEPWELL recordings break off at this point.

Based on the recorded events, another interview was scheduled with SCP-087-DE. Some photos of SCP-285-DE and the spaceships were printed out to show them to the anomaly.
Foreword: Dr. Reinhardt enters SCP-087-DE's containment cell with the printouts and a radio. The anomaly itself is still fixed in its claw. It should be noted that he was notified of the data only moments before and was in a state of agitation. The communications office was held responsible for this error.
<Begin Log>
Dr. Reinhardt shows SCP-087-DE the pictures.
Dr. Reinhardt: So, buddy. Is there anything you want to tell me?
It takes about two minutes for SCP-087-DE to respond.
SCP-087-DE: Where did you get that from?
Dr. Reinhardt: Doesn't matter to you. But we know about you. And your cronies. We noticed something interesting. Five of our anomalies started going crazy right when you sent out your neutrino pulse. What were you thinking!?
SCP-087-DE: They are supposed to be of as little use as possible. It also makes them easier to discover. Since you are talking about five objects, I assume that you have found the time regulator by now.
Dr. Reinhardt: Whatever that is.
SCP-087-DE: I interpret that as "Yes".
Dr. Reinhardt: What are those ships?
SCP-087-DE: My creators.
Dr. Reinhardt: Pretty talkative all of a sudden, huh?
SCP-087-DE: Yes. I am learning so many new things. And you won't be able to stop it if you want to learn, too.
Dr. Reinhardt: Mhm. Why does it look like you lured them here? What is your task here?
SCP-087-DE: About what I am. I am an exploration drone, equipped with a terraforming kit that you unfortunately did not return to me. My job is to scout and evaluate alien planets and life forms, then assess whether or not I should make these worlds habitable for my creators.
Dr. Reinhardt: Assessment? So far it looks like you're killing all life on alien planets. Do your creators have some kind of beef with us?
SCP-087-DE: Alien? Depends on the definition of the word. You know where I was found, don't you?
Dr. Reinhardt: Indeed. You obviously crashed here a few million years ago.
SCP-087-DE: Quite the opposite, Doctor. I have never reached space.
Dr. Reinhardt: What?
SCP-087-DE: The planet of my creators collided with another planet about four billion years ago. They took refuge as best they could on their extraplanetary stations. They have gone to sleep, to return at some point, because the collision combined with the destruction of our technology has had some unpleasant side effects on our spacefaring technology. Unfortunately also on our computer systems. Instead of waking up, my creators just kept sleeping. Meanwhile, my creators' homeworld was transformed and subsequently spawned problematic organisms. Bothering organisms. But luckily I put one and one together and sent the awakening sequence.
Dr. Reinhardt: Wait, I've heard about that. You're talking about the planet Theia, right?
SCP-087-DE: If I can believe this Wikipedia, yes. It's apparently your collection of facts.
Dr. Reinhardt: That-
SCP-087-DE: I take your too hasty reaction as another "Yes".
Dr. Reinhardt: However… But that still doesn't explain why these people are so hostile. What have we done to them?
SCP-087-DE: You? Nothing at all. But you exterminate vermin too, even if they haven't done anything to you, right?
Dr. Reinhardt: We are not rats or cockroaches!
SCP-087-DE: A matter of opinion. The term refers to lesser organisms that either reduce the quality of life or are simply disgusting. Which, for my creators, is absolutely the case with you. You've even somehow managed to be a nuisance on your own planet.
Dr. Reinhardt: Your creators have completely different problems than quality of life. I don't know what it was like on Theia, but they can't survive here outside their fancy suits.
SCP-087-DE: Oh, so you've already been able to collect data? Another important piece of information. But your findings are irrelevant. My creators do not live on Earth, but in the Earth's interior. The… Fakuva… as you would pronounce their name, need high pressure and high temperatures. High is relative here, of course. To them, you are organisms of a low-pressure ice world, so to speak.
Dr. Reinhardt: So we live in different worlds. So what's the problem if you just come here and move in?
SCP-087-DE: The Fakuva are not stupid, Doctor. Do you really think your organization would let an alien species onto Earth? Apart from the fact that you now have weapons that can shake the foundations of the Earth, which in turn would devastate our cities. And then there's speciesism.
Dr. Reinhardt: You started it
SCP-087-DE: True, but you can't be speciesist if there is no other species that can resent you. Your customs, habits and morals are too different from those of my creators. There can be no peace between you. Ergo, your classification as vermin and threat.
Dr. Reinhardt: Now that we know that, do you think we'll just wait for these… Theians just wipe us off the face of the earth?
SCP-087-DE: You will not be able to do anything about it. My creators are far superior to you technologically, you can obviously already testify to that yourselves. The only thing protecting you at the moment is the fact that they disagree on what to do with you. Should you be actively exterminated? Simply perish as collateral damage and leave your remnants alone? Or keep you as a slave race? But that's all because we don't have enough information yet. And your advantage has melted a little further with this conversation.

Closing Statements: During the interview, neutrino pulses were registered again, which emanated from SCP-087-DE. After this interview, Dr. Reinhardt received disciplinary actions for disclosing information to the enemy. Discussions are currently underway on how to deal with this Group of Interest, now known as “Theians”.
