Foreword: This concerns the convolute of events affiliated with SCP-316-DE-B and reports thereof. For reasons of transparency and filtration of data by significance, the scope of the following file collection is narrowed down and pointed, however, there is no guarantee of completion and freedom from data redundancy, as these are the originals; changes were only made in within the scope of rule-compliant quotation. Both the full revision as well as the original recording, audio logs, image media, transcripts and and so on can be viewed and obtained from the archive, subject to application.
From the beginning of 2014 to the end of 2016, ominous cases, some classified as potentially anomalous, were registered in German territorial waters by assigned departments of the German SCP Foundation. These are merely disruptions of radio-based communication, outages in maritime reconnaissance, and missing persons cases of private individuals in the sea for the most part. However, the Foundation institutions acting inside the jurisdictions became witness of third-party activities of the hostile group of interest Rapot Tec. Industries in the span of Incident SCP-316-DE_O4 (CF.: Mission Report SCP-316-DE_O4), which could be deduced through clarifying the technological state of the recovered assemblies, the logos profiled on them and initials.
Given the following Incident SCP-316-DE-E12 (Cf.: Mission Report_SCP-316-DE-E12), the domaine of Containment Project SCP-316-DE's assemblies was extended by one function. Beside the securing, containing, and protection of objects plus the control of and compliance with the codified modalities, the manhunt for the object preliminarily cataloged as SCP-316-DE-B was added, as has already been indicated in the updated containment procedures.
The following is the convolute within the content limits estimated in the foreword.
Mission Report_SCP-316-DE-E12: On the 01/05/2015, several cargo ships under the Foundation's flag were attacked and completely sunk. The surviving sailors' distress call reached the assigned department in Site-DE7 at 14:24. Due to the description of a "weird warship", armed ships by the Northern Sea fleet (NFDF) were dispatched to rescue the survivors and combating the hostile object. The ships reached their target at 16:12 and could bring the shipwrecked persons on board. The whole area has been cleared up by the watercrafts, but no further hostile activity coul be ascertained.
On the way back to the outpost, distress calls of Foundation-associated ships were once again received. The escort was subsequently diverted to provide support. The mission report follows.
Mission Report by the NFDF
Material: Four covertly armed warships by the Foundation Nordsea fleet: "SCP-Container Ⅰ" (Albatros-class speedboat), "SCP-Container Ⅱ" (Baden-Württemberg-class frigate), "SCP-Dunebomber" (Herring Gull-class speedboat) and "SCP Wave Stopper" (Albatros-class speedboat); two armed Sea Lynx on-board combat helicopters from the "SCP-Container Ⅱ"
Position: ██ ° ██' ██'' N., ██ ° ██' ██'' O
Mission Leader: Corporal (B.Sc.) Walter Johannes Giebel
Target: Recovery of survivors, reconnaissance of the potential enemy, and fighting it, if necessary
Start of Recording
[16:45:23] The formation approaches with a constant speed of 32,4 knots (≈ 60 km/h)
Corporal Giebel: How far until we meet reach the origin of the distress call?
Bridge Officer Jahn: 10,8 nautical miles [20 km, Amn. d. Arch.]! Arrival in approximately 20 minutes!
Corporal Giebel: Good! Makes an announcement: Arrival in a third of an hour. All men to their stations! Pilots, prepare for takeoff! Have your weapons ready. The mediator is expected on the bridge!
[16:50:15] PD Dr. Michael, mediator and diving instructor, enters the bridge.
PD Dr. Obstbauer: Good day. I have received my orders already. Negotiate via radio communication and de-escalate at the best possible rate to render weapon usage obselete.
Corporal Giebel: The boring way then.
Irrelevant time span abridged.
Bridge Officer Jahn: Corporal, visual contact confirmed; but the instruments emit no signals of something being there.
Corporal Giebel: That must be an anomalous stealth cap. Attempt to establish contact with the ship, or whatever that is. I think we've got a match.
Bridge Officer Jahn: Everyone. Visual contact with wanted object, earlier than expected. Stand by!
Signalman: This is the "SCP-Container Ⅱ" of the German SCP Foundation. We have been informed that you have raided ships belonging to us and are in possession of pirate technology .. What, AAAAAHHHHHHH …
A loud whistle is emitted from the speakers.
Signalman: Switches off the machine. They use jammers!
Corporal Giebel: They don't seem to be into diplomacy that much. Let the helicopters take off and we blow this thing away in case of emergency!
PD Dr. Obstbauer: Excuse me, but can you see that, too? Looks through tactical binoculars These are … the logos of R.T.I. That's a cutting-edge warship, the technology of which exceeding ours many times over. I don't think it's advisable to attack. Retreating would be very beneficial to our survival at the moment.
Bridge Officer Jakobi: Apart from how big you want to print your logos. R.T.I.: "yes". It seems to be a hydrofoil - see - , they easily catch up with us.
The recording from the bridge's windshield shows how the enemy object glides in/upon the water on six T type foils and two V type foils. The addressed logos depict Raptor Tec. Industries' outdated symbol, with two crossed bones under it.
Corporal: The helicopters will have to wait and prepare aerial defense … for grenade defense! "Wave Stopper's" torpedo triplets are to bomb away the airfoils on the port side, so that it rolls over.
Signalman: Contact is broken off. Light signals are being played.
The involved ship "SCP Wave Stopper" aligns a torpedo triplet and fires three Mark-46 lightweight torpedoes. The projectiles target the enemy ship's hydrofoils with the help of their active sonar, but are redirected and destroyed through a decoy system.
Bridge Officer Jahn: Corporal, torpedoes have been intercepted.
Corporal Giebel: I have eyes myself … Open fire, we must immobilize them …
PD Dr. Obstbauer: Don't you think that's a bit …
All involved ships triangulate, whereupon they begin to flank the object with their canons. The opposing object utilizes the launching of several air-bust projectiles for close-range defense. Around 40 % of the incoming projectiles are intercepted in the sub-projectile hail. The ship presumably belonging to Raptor Tec. Industries suffers some critical hits. It switches into hull-supported operation and remains in the smoke clouds of the detonated grenades.
PD Dr. Obstbauer: Uh, damage appears to be limited …
E. Latzke: They have extremely good armor plating.
Corporal Giebel: Full pipe!
PD Dr. Obstbauer: Do you really think this is bene…
The involved ships of the North Sea fleet open fire once more. Despite its attempts of defense, the opposing object suffers more hits. Inside the smoke clouds ascending from the ship, blazing flames can be seen. The object heaves to.
Corporal Giebel: Now the helicopters! Continue to hold it, it must not escape. Activate rocket ramps and fire cruise missiles! The Wave Stopper shall start another attempt with its torpedoes; it is to bomb the foils away, otherwise they'll be long gone. Full steam ahead!
PD Dr. Obstbauer: Now you're really overdoing it …
Funker: Shut it, lab coat!
The helicopter traversing systems unload the helicopters from the hangar onto the flight deck, whereafter they take off.
The target continues to move under persisting fire. Shortly thereafter, backfire succeeds from the opposing ship's mounted energy weapons. "SCP-Container Ⅰ" and "SCP Dune Bomber" are severely damaged in critical places by several hits from the opposing side.
PD Dr. Obstbauer: What … was … that?
Bridge Officer Jahn: Those are laser canons and PEPs!
PD Dr. Obstbauer: And what are "PEPs"?
K. Hahn: The other two are out; those bastards have completely evaporated the bridge!
Corporal Giebel: Go on. Take chase!
On of the helicopters gets hit by a laser impulse and completely destroyed by the explosively spreading plasma explosion and the and the melting of the construction material. With a bang and a fountain, its wrack falls into the water, followed by severe smoke emission.
Corporal Giebel: Shit!
E. Latzke: Corporal Giebel, they … they take off!
Corporal Giebel: What? WHAAAAT?
PD Dr. Obstbauer: That's a fucking ecraonoplane!?
The windshield camera's recording shows how the object quickly accelerates and subsequently arrives in five meter cruising altitude.
Corporal Giebel: Adjust sea targets and blow this thing up!
Bridge Officer Jahn: Aye, Captain! Taking aim at the target. Ready to fire.
The enemy ship in ground effect flight shoots several spherical objects towards the Foundation formation, impacting the water 30 meters from the latter. All on-board electronic systems subsequently break down. This is accompanied by this recording terminating.
Afterword: During the encounter and pursuit, the ships "SCP-Container Ⅰ" and "SCP Dune Bomber" suffered severe damages on their hulls and bridges; both ships had to subsequently be repaired. In total, 17 Foundation employees and 34 externals perished during the incident. Financial losses amount to approximately € 2,500,000. The "SCP-Container Ⅰ" managed to return in manual mode, while the "SCP Dune Bomber" had to be towed by a Berlin-class supply vessel by MTF DE7-𝔑 „Neptune's Trident“, and its crew being take care of in the mounted Marine Rescue Center (MRC).
Using further analysis of the graphic material, which appears colorless and blurred due to the opponent's anomalous stealth technologies, and testimonies by witnesses, a facial composite of the object could be created:
- The ship measured approximately 85 m in length and 17 m in width
- its decks were completely covered by a streamlined dome.
- four turbine jet engines connected in series on the port and starboard sides
- features tandem wings on its front third with a span of 44 m on waterline
- it has four T-type folis and one V-type foil on each wing
- armory consists of four railguns, one centrifugal force gun, and several laser canons
According to multiple submitted reports, the object stems from the production of the group of interest Raptor Tec. Industries, which is justified by the logos present on the exterior walls. The model is a hybrid variant of hydrofoils paired with ground-effect vehicles of "Tandem Airfoil Flair-boat" (TAF) modification, according to Foundation experts.
Judging by the records, the object was damaged, but could escape. It is henceforth rated a threat for German territorial waters, with the North and Baltic Sea's dispositions [Edited: Foundation submarines and MTF DE13-𝔖 „Hawk Eye“] being tasked with reporting about and persuing the object, provisionally designated as SCP-316-DE-B, and has to send execution teams for containment or neutralization.
SCP-316-DE-B is assumed to be SCP-316-DE's lost sister ship.
Incident SCP-316-DE-B-E4: On the 28/06/2016, another sighting of SCP-316-DE-B occurred at the coordinates ██ ° ██' ██'' N., ██ ° ██' ██'' O., close to Wilhelmshaven, during which, similar to the first encounter of the parties, Foundation-associated civil vessels were ambushed, all but one of which were storing non-anomalous material, but were preventively in company of a U-212-A by the UFDF. AO-███7-DE was stored in one of the three ships present in a minimum distance of 2.7 km, and had to be transported to Site-DE25. The following is the restored course of events on the basis of material and testimonies.
UFDF Mission Report
Material: A class 212A submarine fitted with type DM2A4 Hake heavyweight torpedoes, IDAS water-to-air-guided missiles and 2000 decoys.
Position: ██ ° ██' ██'' N., ██ ° ██' ██'' O
Mission Leader: Captain Lutz Markus
Target: Inconspicuous escort of the ship transporting AO-███7DE.
Remark: The transportation vehicle disguised as civil vessel (here: Ship A) was occupied by a team of 60 men, plus 10 armed Foundation soldiers trained in house-to-house combat. AO-███7DE was stored inside a ℍ𝔼𝕃-transport insulation at the same time, despite it not needing any containment procedures; this circumstance is due to regulations on the safe transportation of anomalous goods. The U-212A (here: U) was permanently in submerged operation to evade any attention. The different recordings were united.
[20:45]: The ship "████" has left Wilhelmshaven at time and started its route towards Site-DE25.
Irrelevant time span abridged
[22:00]: Both vehicles properly activate military sensors.
[22:12]: Route continues. Cruising speed reached. Anticipated arrival: 4 p.m the following day.
[22:30]: Optical infrared sensors detect the approach of a blurred object on the scale of a frigate. Distance: 1.3 km.
A/ Navigator Wirsching: Oh fuck, what's that? That doesn't look very … Does anyone have a clue about what this thing could be? I have a very bad feeling …
A/ Captain Wies: Report to the submarine and the people on land. I am also suspicious of it.
[22:32]: Follows his order.
U/ Captain Markus: Makes an announcement: Everyone to their stations! "████" reports about a strange flying object. Land headquarters categorizes it as an SCP-316-DE-B sighting! I repeat: Potential SCP-316-DE-B attack. All on standby.
U/ ████: Radio contact lost!
A/ C. Höhler: Radio communication is disrupted!
A/ Captain Wies: Shit! Does anyone have an idea what we are dealing with here?
Silence aboard the bridge of the ship "████".
A/C. Höhler: According to optical sensors, the object is located on the water and under 500 meter away.
[22:40] Partial failure of electrical systems aboard the "████", sometimes causing the audio recordings to terminate.
[A/ CAM_1, 22:42]: Captain Wies impatiently marshes through the bridge. The four remaining employees pursue their tasks, where possible. Merely dimmed light illuminates the room.
[A/ CAM_2, 22:43]: The room with the ℍ𝔼𝕃-transport containment of AO-███7DE, secured by two security guards, is shown from the perspective of the right, upper room corner. The guards show noticeable dread with their guns at the ready. The corridor leading to the bulkhead is in the blind spot.
[A/ CAM_3, 22:45]: "████"'s port side is visible through a wide-angel camera with night-vision. SCP-316-DE-B approaches from said direction. The object decelerates until it reaches a distance of 300 m.
[A/ CAM_1, 22:52]: Captain Wies goes to the intercom device: Survivors reported that he had given the order to use weapons.
[A/ CAM_3, 22:55]: Several metal sheets are shown opening on the railing of "████", from which two type MLG 27 revolver canons and the "76-mm gun by OTO Melera" mulit-ammunition gun emerge in the camera's observable area. SCP-316-DE-B is thus taken under fire.
U/ Captain Markus: What's going on over there?
U/ G. Schneider: The "████" seems to take the object under fire, captain.
U/ Captain Markus: Load heavyweight torpedoes and prepare pressurized water shafts. We give cover from a distance.
U/ ████: We have nothing on our radar. What should we shoot at?
U/ Captain Markus: Disgruntled sound.
[23:04]: The submarine changes its relative position to the ship to be protected.
[A/ CAM_3, 22:05]: SCP-316-DE-B returns fire and destroys the operating turrets with laser and PEP-fire. The camera shows four motorized boats leaving SCP-316-DE-B.
[A/ CAM_4, 22:09]: B-Deck is shown being currently ascended by four RTF-soldiers. They make use of their machine guns and keep the motorboats trying to dodge the fire.
[A/ CAM_4, 22:14]: A bright flash of light appears, closely followed by an explosion. The agents go down, with all but one erecting immediately afterwards. Named individual was brought into the interior by his comrades. The B-deck is deserted. The PEP's hit left a glowing curvature.
[A/ CAM_1, 22:20]: Captain Wies apparently gives new orders via the relays.
[A/ CAM_3, 22:21]: Water canons and hydraulic tubes activate along the hull. The motorboats heaved to.
[A/ CAM_3, 22:21]: Continuous laser exposition of SCP-316-DE-B systematically destroys the defense mechanisms piece by piece. The boats approach anew. The individuals atop them perform unidentified actions and climb up the ship's side, which is why they are assumed to use boarding tools.
[A/ CAM_4, 22:37]: Armed persons reached B-deck. One of them destroys the locked entrance door with a bazooka, while the others are enlarging the resulting hole.
[A/ CAM_5, 22:43]: Three soldiers of the stationed MTF take cover and open fire without hesitation, under which three aggressors fall.
[22:50] The people in charge of the Foundation marine Department sound the alarm. The on-call team of MTF DE13-𝔖 „Hawk Eye“ gets mobilized and send into the the ships' last known position.
{DATA DAMAGED}
Both audio surveillance as well as video cameras failed during the next twenty minutes, which is traced back to another devastating EW combat action by SCP-316-DE-B. According to eyewitness reports, the aggressors fought their way through the bridge and the ℍ𝔼𝕃-transport containment with heavy losses. In the process (Interim balance), eight Foundation employees of different areas and eleven persons of interest have already perished. Bridge personnel was taken hostage.
[A/ CAM_2, 23:17]: The guard posts took over the containment's defense. They are meeting the onslaught with fully automatic fire from their assault rifles and grenade launchers, but fall victim to smoke grenade shortly thereafter, and get ambushed from its cover.
[23:26]: After MTF DE13-𝔖 arrived over the North Sea, supersonic speed was resorted to at around 23:04. Four fighter jets of the MTF are approaching. Using a high-precision guided missile, the motorboat encircling "████" was flanked and neutralized; no survivors. Two of the airplanes take aim on SCP-316-DE-B with light cruise missiles, which are, however, intercepted and answered with returning fire.
Siegfried-A1: Enemy neutralized. But are under … well, what do you call it when you're being fired at with laser?.
Siegfried-A2: Never mind, just under fire. We're keeping our distance.
Tower: Use lighting ammunition against the motorboats, we don't know for sure if they are in possession of the anomaly.
Siegfried-C1: Understood, Roger. [unintelligible]. Radio conta… [unintelligible].
Siegfried-A1: They disrupt our communication … and our systems? They should be EMPF-proof, right?
Tower: Unfortunately, we don't have enough information about the nature of SCP-316-DE [sic]. The people from the administration are going crazy right now …
Siegfried-B2: Speaking of "turning": The object …
[A/ CAM_3, 23:40]: Nine masked figures walk over deck B. They come under Siegfried-B's MG-fire shortly thereafter, with two going down. Understanding that it may cause damages to Foundation property, the target is changed from the persons to the escape vehicles.
Siegfried-B1 u. -2: Screams. The fighter jet gets hit by the a laser and rendered unfit for action in glaringly bright light.
Siegfried-A2: Karl, Maria! Breathes in shock. Shit!
Siegried-D1: There, the boats.
[A/ CAM_3, 23:46]: Two of the formerly four motorboats are taking course at their mother-ship, which is in the process of retreating.
Siegried-D2: Control? Request permission to use anti-ship rockets.
Tower: Permission granted.
Siegfried-C and -D both shoot two sea target bodies at SCP-316-DE-B, with all being intercepted.
Eighty meters in front of SCP-316-DE, IDAS-guided missiles shoot out of the water and hit SCP-316-DE-B. Infinitesimal damage registered.
Siegfried-A1: Nice to see them doing something for once …
Siegfried-D1: [Unintelligible]
[A/ CAM_7, 22:51]: Armed Foundation employees are leaving the shelters, scouting the ship's interior piece by piece.
Siegfried-A shoots its anti-ship rockets at SCP-316-DE-B the aggressors' boats retreated in. One was intercepted, while the other leaves a burning fracture in the outer hull.
U/ Captain Markus: Good, target those weird airfoils, then it should be unable to take off.
U/ ████: One shot just took me half an eternity. My calculator is not that fast and the formulary also limited. But well, I'll do my best.
[A/ CAM_3, 24:00]: SCP-316-DE-B rapidly accelerates and switches to foilborn-supported operation, transitioning into ground-effect flight after eighty meters.
U/ G. Schneider: Torpedoes ineffective, they're already in flight. We can't localize them … We hit nothing with the periscope or even guided missiles. Puts the formulary and calculator away in disappointment.
Siegried-A: Follow me!
Siegried-A is hit on the airfoil by a PEP. The crew saves themselves through their parachutes.
Siegried-C1: Negative … really big negative!
Afterword: Shortly after SCP-316-DE-B approached and electronically sabotaged the ship containing AO-████DE, it, as shown in the transcript, released four motorized boats of unknown model, which transported eight to twelve persons respectively. As was the case for all documented events so far, SCP-316-DE-B disrupted the communication and parts of electronic systems, with anomalous factors within the EW-devices' application being assumed by now. Occasionally, radio wave communication failed, with radar and sonar systems being useless due to SCP-316-DE's stealth cap. SCP-316-DE-B disposed of the lethal and non-lethal defense mechanisms of the targeted ship, so that the boarding attempt could be performed. The infantry pirates posed an asymmetric threat, in the aspects of operating with strategy, organization and the like; triumph over the safety measures acquired with infantile procedures, brutal force, quantitative superiority and ruthlessness towards own losses. A total of fourteen Foundation employees and twenty-two aggressors perished during the incident. Forensic investigations matched the used handguns with outdated models of a rifle type from the factory floors of Raptor Tec. Industries; the demographics of the terminated groups of interest were irregularly distributed across South-African, Mexican and Arabic ethnics, with Italians, Germans, and Norwegians also being among the victims. An injured person was discovered and stabilized during the subsequent purge. A Berlin-class supply vessel located the assaulted water vehicle and took the surviving crew and the inmate into their custody; he was stabilized in the Berlin-class ship's Marine Rescue Center (MRC). After he had recovered and became responsive, interrogations were initiated (see.: Interrogation Report_B-E4)
Interviewer: Dr. Laura Fried; Dipl. rer. com. Hans Grönemeyer.
Interviewee: Azul ████ (20), male, Central African descent.
Date: 07.07.2016
Remark: The subject was fixed to its chair with handcuffs, with one security member wielding a taser gun being present in the room. This measures were undertaken due to violent behavior towards personnel and multiple foiled escape attempts. There was a slight language barrier. This was already the fourth attempt at interrogating the subject. Former failed on the subject's refusal to testify. Said interview was continuously performed for three days straight and consisted of several rotations of personnel to make the subject compliant via sleep deprivation. Rotation █ follows.
Dr. Fried: Good day to you. I hope you're soon ready to cooperate.
The subject remains silent.
Dr. Fried: Well, there are a few questions I'm to ask you then, as you haven't been handling my dear colleague quite so eloquent in the last eighty-five hours.
The interrogatee averts his gaze. He seems tired out.
Dr. Fried: I take this as a "yes". New launch new luck. What's your name?
Reticence. Falls asleep
Dr. Fried: Wake up! What's your name?
Reticence. Two minutes pass.
Dr. Fried: Wie heißen Sie? (eng.: What's your name?)
Reticence.
Dipl. Grönemeyer: Looks at his electronic dictionary. Kako se zoveš? (eng.: What's your name?)
Reticence.
Dr. Fried: I will ask you one more time, or else we'll be forced to get tough. What's your name?
Azul: Me not saying anything to you? Woman not ordering me anything? [sic]
Dr. Fried: We are entirely aware of the cultural differences, but equal rights prevail here in Germany. So, what's your name?
Reticence and a disapproving gaze.
Dr. Fried: That's a …
Dipl. Grönemeyer: See, we should be getting some answers by now. We have the possibility to get out of this situation like civilized humans, or else things get ugly … for you. So, name?
Azul: Me not saying anything. [sic]
Dr. Fred: Well then, Mister Grönemeyer, good nights to you. [To the subject] You wait nicely for our colleagues.
Azul: Begs No, no. Please. Do not do my harm, please! [sic]
Azul: Azul ████. Trembles
Dr. Fried: There we go … How old are you and where do you come from?
Azul: Twenty years old and from ████████.
Dr. Fried: How did you find out about the Foundation?
Azul: What Foundation? …
Dipl. Grönemeyer: That's us. The ships you and your partners ambushed.
Azul: Ah, by our providers?
Dr. Fried: Who are your "providers"?
Azul: The … the ones that gave flying ship to us … and weapons. The dino humans …
Dr. Fried: [To Dipl. Grönemeyer] "Dino humans"?
Grönemeyer shrugs his shoulders.
Dr. Fried: Who are those "dino humans"?
Azul: Those with the red dino head.
Dipl. Grönemeyer: I think he paraphrases Raptor Rec. using the logo. How did you get to know the "dino humans"?
Azul: They promised us help.
Dr. Fried: You mean their compatrios?
Azul: Me family. [sic]
Dr. Fried: Oh … uhm … swallows What's the matter with your family?
Azul: They suffer great, great hunger. I not canning to feed them [sic]. Thus I became a pirate, raided ships. Stole goods. Earned money. At some point, a man entered our midst. He promised us money and weapons and a ship, if we …
Dr. Fried: If you?
Azul: Me be afraid … [sic]
Dr. Fried: Everything's fine. You are at the probably most secure location in our vicinity. You have no reason to be afraid. Looks compassionately at the tray already holding the D-class personification of the subject.
Azul: They everywhere. Their eyes everywhere! Invisible murderers! Hyperventilates [sic]
Dipl. Grönemeyer: Everything is fine. You are safe. There, do you see the guard; he will protect you. Mrs. Doctor Fried and I are still here, too.
The guard security guard puts on a friendly face.
Azul: When we steal strange things from ships the dino humans showed us. When we do what they say, then we get flying ship, weapons and money. [sic]
Dr. Fried: [To Dipl. Grönemeyer] So we are dealing with modern buccaneering here.
Dipl. Grönemeyer: Where did you have to take the stolen goods?
Azul: The flying ship spoke to us. It drives on its own, often shoots by itself. We're only boarded. Lost many familar faces in the process. [sic]
Dr. Fried: Where did you bring the stolen goods?
Azul: Piracy for us we were allowed to do and keep stolen goods, also the ones from the dino human's targets. We had to only bring the weird stuff to ████████, where the dino humans picked it up. But oftenly wanted the water to turn red. [sic]
Dipl. Grönemeyer: Oh, that's important!
Dr. Fried: Why did the "dino humans" specifically chose minor roles — uh I apologize — you, instead of their own people or .. well, robots?
Azul: Starts to laugh hysterically Because we aren't of value for them! We are cheaper than their machines could ever be. More replaceable. The ship can escape and defend itself on its own, the one being boarded has less of a chance …
Dr. Fried: Do you know something about the "dino human's" motif?
Azul: Revenge …
Dipl. Grönemeyer: All right, that makes sense … in one way … somehow … I'm not that well-read on the subject, I must admit.
Azul: Goes into microsleep.
Dipl. Grönemeyer: Oh, it seems he's approaching his limit. Wake up!
Azul: Bastards, damn bastards! Leave me alone.
Dr. Fried: We had to bring the most important things to light anyways. You have earned yourself a good night's sleep!
The Foundatioon employees stand up and leave the room. As Dr. Fried is about to leave the room last:
Azul: Will I die?
Dr. Fried: No. Puts on a calming face and crosses her fingers behind her back. Swallows.
Afterword: The subject made the request to be allowed to speak to his family shortly after the interrogation's termination; the request was denied for several reasons, not least due to the afflicted persons' accessibility. As has been agreed upon by the people in charge, he was demoted to D-class personal and died within this post during an attempt with SCP-███-DE four months later. The subject was no longer of no informational significance, which led to this step. The SCP-316-DE-B events were determined to have been attacks on the part of modern privateers by Raptor Tec. Industries, using the subject's claims. The exact intention behind the attacks, usage of pirates and mercenaries instead of other more effective persons, and/or both the tools as well as the reason of desiring the less-anomalous object AO-███7DE are unknown thus far, and the interrogated individual was unable to provide information pertaining to them.
Foundation teams were dispatched to examine the transfer point described by the subject for activities.
Mission Report Résumé SCP-316-DE_E7: From 23/08/2016 up to and including 21/09/2016, twelve Foundation ships, thirty-two aricrafts, eight submarines, one aircraft carrier borrowed from the American Foundation, and the temporary MTF DE7-𝔔 ,,Ecrano Hunters" were conjucntly dispatched into the area that has been indicated to be a transfer point by the subject to locate SCP-316-DE-B. The area was combed in a 200 km radius four about four weeks, but no trace of the sought subject nor the associated subjects was found. A military routine exercise was publicized as a cover story and the corresponding organs of the union discredited, so that the veil could be maintained. However, the initiative proved to be expensive, which was determined by the sum of € 186.000.000. All external marine employees were, if necessary, amnestitized.
Closing Remarks: The consenus assumes that Raptor Tec. Industries either got hold of the object it desired, the operation was a short-lived vendetta against the Foundation, or it was a test phase before the marketability of SCP-316-DE-B. Since the end of year 2016, no further reports involving SCP-316-DE-B were received, which resulted in the alarm status being lowered.
From the desk of O4-1
There were no news about SCP-316-DE-B since approximately six years. In consideration of this meaningless fact, we can breath a sight of relief for now, which, however, should not entice us to become careless. We once again experienced what may be in the offing when we make enemies in the anomalous world.
This case is highly unusual: We are not aware of any motif behind Raptor Tec. Industries' acts. We are neither in possession of a truly verifiable approach, nor do we have the slightest clue why exactly externals were recruited — makes me worry that R.T.I. has such atypical behavior. Harsh doubts arise in me, whether a third-party organization had a bank too big. Even the idea that R.T.I. has burdened themselve with such an effort for AO-███7DE does not make sense to me. I want to emphazise that I have only recently and therefero inssuficently dealt with this case, but so far things just do not rhyme in my opinion. Apart from the academic parts of this SCP file, I wanted to present my brainstorming.
But enough dilly-dallying. With a quorum of 9/13, management board decided to reduce the resources flowing into the increased sea surveillance to an appropriate height, as the threat posed by SCP-316-DE-B - "vanished" would be the wrong term rather - did not come into spotlight in the last years.
But I would like to make an appeal to those being lulled into a sense of security: SCP-316-DE-B is still out there and it is only a question of time when, where, and how we are confronted with the object once more.
