SCP-747-JP undergoing testing

Item #: SCP-747-JP

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-747-JP instances are to be individually packed with cushioning material and contained in a standard storage locker.

Description: SCP-747-JP is the collective designation for unfertilized chicken (Gallus gallus domesticus) eggs that show no sign of decay. Currently, there are 81 instances in containment.

SCP-747-JP's anomalous properties manifest when at least 1 instance and a sufficient amount of liquid are heated in the same container. At the point the temperature of liquid reaches around 80 °C, the positional relations between SCP-747-JP instance, liquid and container become completely fixed. After this occurs, these components cannot be moved individually. In addition, the liquid maintains its temperature without being heated, and its amount does not decrease by evaporation. After approximately 8 minutes and 29 seconds, the fixation and the temperature maintenance is canceled, and SCP-747-JP instance demanifests.

Test log have been omitted. Please contact SCP-747-JP Research Team for further detailed data.
