Item #: SCP-881-KO
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: Both instances of SCP-881-KO are to be contained in the Euclid temporary containment wing at Site-12K and are scheduled for relocation to the Department of Dinosaur Studies at Site-202K. A raw chicken must be provided weekly to each instance.
Description: SCP-881-KO refers to two dinosaur statues. -1 resembles the presumed look of Deinocheirus mirificus, while -2 resembles that of Gallimimus bullatus. SCP-881-KO were found in Pyeongtaek-si, Gyeonggi-do, recklessly trying to mate with laying hens at a poultry farm, before being captured by Foundation agents.
The instances normally remain inactive except for their weekly attempts to mate with nearby avian species. If no avian species are present within reach, SCP-881-KO will begin a rampage. As testing revealed that such animals do not have to be alive, a raw chicken will be provided weekly during containment.
Attempts to reduce the cost of raw chicken by prompting SCP-881-KO-1 and -2 to mate with each other failed, resulting in a disturbance greater than the usual rampage.
1st Update: SCP-881-KO jumped into petroleum and attempted copulation. Based on this result, a search for non-avian subjects that will provoke sexual arousal began.
2nd Update: SCP-881-KO displayed higher sexual arousal towards plastic Lego dinosaurs than towards chickens. Such a response is presumed to be because both its appearance and the material match the dinosaurs. A revision for the special containment procedures is pending.
