Item #: SCP-CN-2063

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-CN-2063 is to be contained along with its constriction apparatus "Mnemosyne" in a standard containment chamber at Site-CN-51. With the exception of emergency circumstances, entering the containment chamber requires Level 4 authorization. When anomalous alterations manifest within SCP-CN-2063's document, this authorization requirement may be ignored, and personnel reading this document should enter the containment chamber and activate "Mnemosyne" as soon as possible. In order to ensure that core information pertaining to SCP-CN-2063 is not altered, this document has been equipped with an information-protecting meme; information written with a black underline is confirmed to be trustworthy. Item #: SCP-CN-2063

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-CN-2063 is to be contained along with its constriction apparatus "Black Magpie" in a standard containment chamber at Site-CN-51. Entering the containment chamber requires Level 4 authorization. Personnel are to ensure that "Black Magpie" is activated at all times. Personnel are not to activate SCP-CN-2063. In order to prevent personnel from being misled by incorrect SCP-CN-2063 documents, "Black Magpie" has inserted correct information into Foundation documents anomalously created by SCP-CN-2063 in the form of italic text. Based on current knowledge, incorrect information produced by SCP-CN-2063 manifests in the form of underlined text.

Description: SCP-CN-2063 is an anomalous electronic device of unknown operating principle; its exterior is made of metal, with complex engravings and wires of unknown use. Its size is approximately the same as that of a standard civilian microcomputer case. SCP-CN-2063 was initially discovered by Dr. S████ on ██████ Road, Shanghai; its anomalous exterior caught Dr. S████'s attention and it was brought back to Site-CN-51.

SCP-CN-2063's primary anomalous property is that it will use an unknown mechanism to connect to the Foundation intranet and edit records in the Foundation database. Information anomalously added by SCP-CN-2063 is invariably in italic type, and can be identified through this feature. Currently, no means have been found of effectively preventing SCP-CN-2063's anomalous effects. All attempts to delete or edit documents defaced by SCP-CN-2063 have failed. Currently, Dr. Ren ████████ has successfully developed a means of suppressing SCP-CN-2063 in the form of a special reality anchor "Mnemosyne".

Description: SCP-CN-2063 is an anomalous object shaped like a reality anchor, measuring 1.3 m in length, 0.4 m in width, and 0.5 m in height. SCP-CN-2063 was initially discovered in Site-CN-51, in Agent Hu ███████'s wardrobe.

SCP-CN-2063's anomalous properties manifest in the form of using unknown methods to forcibly access the Foundation intranet and create pages on the Foundation records website containing large amounts of meaningless garbage data, which significantly affects Foundation personnel reading documents. All attempts to turn off SCP-CN-2063 have failed.

Addendum 2063-A: Log of Experimentation Regarding Control Mechanism "Mnemosyne"
Test Subject: SCP-CN-2063
Date: 202█/07/██
Result: "Mnemosyne" successfully reversed a significant portion of SCP-CN-2063's edits, and to a certain degree suppressed SCP-CN-2063's access to the Foundation intranet.

Addendum 2063-A: Log of Experimentation Regarding Control Mechanism "Black Magpie"
Test Subject: SCP-CN-2063
Date: 202█/04/██
Result: "Black Magpie" successfully deleted a large portion of SCP-CN-2063's anomalous pages, and to a certain degree suppressed SCP-CN-2063's influence on the Foundation intranet.

Incident Log 2063-01: On 202█/10/██, a technical error occurred in "Mnemosyne" and SCP-CN-2063 managed to break through its restrictions and edit its own SCP document, adding misleading information in order to encourage personnel reading the document to damage "Mnemosyne", eventually e$?Dh<?åx¼TùËaH??.

Incident Log 2063-01: On 202█/06/██, SCP-CN-2063 generated a coherent document for hte first time. This document described "Black Magpie" as the anomalous object being contained, and described itself as "Constriction Apparatus 'Mnemosyne'". It is believed that this document contained a weak infohazard that caused personnel reading it to disable the constriction apparatus "Black Magpie", causing large amounts of anomalous pages to once again manifest on the Foundation website.
