Item #: SCP-CN-3838

Object Class: Thaumiel / Apollyon

Special Containment Procedures: Irrelevant.

Description: SCP-CN-3838 is a collection of red bullets with engravings related to GoI-586 "Children of the Scarlet King." They were originally discovered in Site-CN-20; it is theorized that there were originally seven, but three had already been used when recovered. Spent rounds might have been used in response to K-Class scenarios or certain anomalous entities (including Apex-tier Pluripotent Entities). It is hypothesized that it is the result of an agreement between the Foundation and GoI-586 during a now non-existent XK-Class scenario, and might have been used to counter the scenario itself.

The items' anomalous nature is that when the name of an entity has been added to the below addendum (hereafter SCP-CN-3838-1), if a person fires a SCP-CN-3838 instance with a pistol towards any target, SCP-CN-3838-1 will be "killed" unconditionally. This entity cannot be associated with the Scarlet King. The SCP-CN-3838-1 entity "killed" by the first six bullets cannot be the SCP Foundation, and the firing of the seventh SCP-CN-3838 bullet may result in the collapse and disappearance of the Foundation on a causal level.

It has been confirmed that at least 3 Apex-tier Pluripotent Entities have been "killed" by SCP-CN-3838.

It is certain that once an SCP-CN-3838 instance is fired, the "killing" of the SCP-CN-3838-1 entity will result in the next SCP-CN-3838 instance being fired. In other words, once the first SCP-CN-3838 instance is fired, all seven bullets will be spent. Subsequently, concepts related to the Scarlet King will gradually enter consensus reality; after the seventh SCP-CN-3838 instance is fired, a Tashkent-class "Cross Pollination" Scenario will trigger.

1 instance of SCP-CN-3838 currently remains.

Addendum 1: Next SCP-CN-3838-1 Designation
