Chest containing SCP-PL-248.

Item #: SCP-PL-248

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-PL-248 must be contained in an adorned 16th-century chest it was found in, in Reliquary Site-24 warehouse.

Description: SCP-PL-248 is a woman's corpse at an age around 3 years old. On the back of the object is found a wound made by a dagger. The object doesn't seem to decompose over time.

At the moment when someone will observe SCP-PL-248, they will feel a feeling of melancholy and grief, which can maintain itself for a long time. Individuals under this effect occasionally create works of art and literature, e.g. poems.

The dagger which caused the wound was also present in the chest at the moment of its acquisition from ██████ in Czarnolas. On its grip were found traces of sweat of an unknown person. Genetic tests have shown affinity between that person and the object.
