The Poet Faces The Sun Falling Down

When the Sun’s hatred filled this world
Envy got the moonlight devoured
A wish was made for ‘life of peace
A burning love that never ceased.

This planet, Sol gave it its heat
Each era rose in every way
From tiny microbes to great men.
Wandered Hatred did, day by day.

He always tried to surpass Sol
Afraid her name, cast into gold
He rushed through, dangers on his side
Sol caught it, in a nick of time.

Bless she blessed, her glorious rays
Earth protected, and the world embraced
With love, tender and passionate
Empathise, hate dissolved away.
