Two years ago, the duck KirQ and the goose
SamScript opened a joint Discord server for the VN and ZH branches to interact with each other. The event was a great success and has helped build a strong friendship between the two International branches! To further this amazing journey, we're excited to host another collaborative event - this time, it's a Gift Exchange Event!

Hello explorer and welcome to the "Holy Christmas : Joyful Night" Event (聖夜相守越夜耶 / Đài Các Giáng Sinh, Linh Đình Suốt Đêm), a collaborative event between the Vietnamese Branch and the Traditional Chinese Branch members of SCP Wiki during the 2025 Christmas holiday.
So, what is this about?
The rule and format are similar to the English Wiki's annual Art Exchange Event.
This special event is a holiday gift exchange activity between the VN and ZH branches. Participants from each branch can share what kinds of gifts they are able to provide, such as illustrations, tales, articles, or poems, etc., along with what kinds of gifts they would like to receive. Each participant will then be secretly matched with another person from the other branch to prepare their gift, basically a Secret Santa style. Right before Christmas, gifts are exchanged, and after a few days, the organizers will reveal who made each gift.
So, how can I join this?
Simply create a new post, not a reply to this thread, in the Discord server of either branche (or you can contact the event organizers) following the format below:
What I Can Give: [What you are able to provide]
What I Am Looking For: [What you are looking to receive]
Do not put "I can receive anything!", or something to that effect, under "What I Am Looking For" section. Although this may sound courteous to your prospective gifter, it actually leaves them with no direction to prepare their gift, making the process inadvertently more difficult. Please be at least a little specific with your requests (while also being reasonable). Additionally, keep things within the confines of the SCP and Wanderer's Library universe. Do not ask for gifts on Steam or for people to write about an OC that has no relation to either wiki.
For "What I Can Give": This is your chance to basically brag a little! What kinds of art do you enjoy making? What kind of stories have you written or translated in the past, or what kinds are you hoping to make in the future? Is there anything that you're particularly proud of and would like to show off, to excite the others here? Link it! The better details you provide of what you feel like you want to do the most, the better this event can be for everyone!
And remember, there may not be enough authors/artists to go around, so you should also temper your expectations in regard to what you may receive.
Additionally, one cannot stress these enough:
- Don't sign up if you are iffy on making the deadlines laid out below!
- If you know you're busy, or that something's coming up which may interfere with your gift-making process, you should probably abstain. However, we also understand that something unexpected may emerge in your personal life, one that you could not have planned for, and disrupt your Art Exchange intentions. Thus, we're willing to help. Provided that the above case occurs: if possible, ask your friends to collaborate in making the gifts; we are fine with that! If not, there will be pinch-hitters from the staff board to help you!
The Timeline
- Nov. 7th - Nov. 12th — Signing up.
- Nov. 14th - Dec. 8th — Preparing gifts.
- Dec. 9th - Dec. 16th — Pinch-hitting.
- Dec. 16th - Dec. 25th — Uploading your gift to the Wiki! Also, we'll reopen the joint VN/ZH Discord server for chatting, socializing, and sending thank-you messages.
