Appearance: The guy known as Karpfisch is a completely normal human. Fine, he has a fish head and, yes, he likes to scare the personal but he is still a human.

Curriculum vitae: Before SCP-XXX-DE Karpfisch came into the foundation he teached professional bubbling on a university in the [REDACTED]-Sea. The foundation found out about it some day and brought Karpfisch into a containment chamber. Thereupon, invalid experiments were conducted to find the reason for his anomalous properties. But when they discovered his high intellect, they let him go. Being hired he set to work the study of parasitic and memetic anomalies, in which he became exceedingly successful.

Equipment: Karpfisch is usually seen with anomalous headphones which, according to him, make him immune to memetic influences. Furthermore, a levitating water bubble allows him to breath oxygen outside of water. To this day, no living soul knows how he is doing this, but we will find out.

Addendum: The fact that Karpfisch is fighting for the release of subjekt E-8495 from foundation custody, is to be ignored. Any personal joining this activity is subject to disciplinary measures a big help.

This one time with the moray

It is unknown how Karpfisch came into acquiring the SCP-227-DE file. But what we do know is that on that day, Karpfisch did not appear on duty. Instead he jumped into Moo's pool and slurped a bloody mary cocktail with him.

Baited

Security personal was able to save Karpfisch just before his consumption by SCP-182-DE. He gave no information concerning the form taken by the bait. He left the area, visibly frustrated about his rescue.

The great flood

After another unsuccessful saving of relevant data⁴, Karpfisch decided that it would be a great idea to subject Henry⁵ to a gastrointestinal autopsy. There laid silence in the air for a moment, until a member of d-class personal asked his escort as to why the door leading into the operating room was stretching out of its hinges so much. The door broke shortly thereafter, and Karpfisch appeared on a surfboard which was located on a indescribable huge amount of data. Karpfisch still wore his surgical clothing throughout. The incident caused an extensive overheating in the foundation servers and long maintenance work had to be conducted.

Since then, Henry never swallowed data again. Karpfisch was promoted to senior surgeon.

Light burn!

Once upon a SCP-024-DE-J event, Karpfisch searched for the nearest submarine⁶ to to look for sargassum fish (Histrio histrio) inside the Pacific Ocean. After having accumulated five of them, he cut off their photophores along with the string, gluing them aloft his head thereafter. He solely took the glowing ball from the fifth, placing it inside his oral cavity. A jump inside dark-green paint completed his transformation into a living Christmas tree.
